I'm a grown ass man (almost 40) and this is the only thing I asked for for Christmas... I feel like a kid again, looking forward to finding a videogame under the tree!!! 😂 Thank you, machine games!!!
I really want to give this game a 9/10 but currently, there's an inventory bug in the game at the moment. I'm stuck in Giza because Indy can't use his gun, camera, lighter, whip, etc. and gets stuck in the bag animation making any combat completely undoable. Otherwise, I love this game from the exploration to the fistfights and some gunfights as well. Here's hoping for some expansions to this game one day.
I really hope we get another one this game is so fun if you’re a fan of Indiana Jones. I just am not sure if he has the audience he used to since there hasn’t been much good since the Lego game to keep people excited for him.
Been loving the game. I remember Indy once saying after I hit a guard something like “Have a nice sleep”. He is dead. I hit him with a hammer hard enough to destroy the end. He is not asleep
I stand by the title being very unimpressive and uninteresting. I don’t think they did themselves any favours in that respect. However, the actual game itself is a charming, interesting, action packed but also clever, detailed and at times very funny adventure story. It is perfectly in line with Indiana Jones quality wise and thematically. It is the fourth Indy movie that slots in so neatly alongside its peers in the franchise. I was blown away at just how authentically Indy this game was, it was unashamedly proud of living up to that legacy and recreating that feeling to the best of their ability. I have nothing but praise for how it told its story and presented itself. Now, is the gameplay anything to write home about? No, it’s fairly generic first person stealth gameplay with some interesting puzzle mechanics. But I don’t think it’s ever bad or annoying or unfun, it’s just not the most engaging experience in the world. That, again, is carried by the writing. But the gameplay alone could not salvage this if it weren’t attached to the story, you can easily see it being irritating if there’s nothing to keep you invested. And I’m just gonna say it - Voss is the best Indiana Jones villain. Not that he has much competition, the villains in the films were never that engaging on a personal level, it was what they represented that was the actual threat. But Voss? Voss isnt just a stereotypical shouty Nazi. He isn’t even the more sadistic Reinhard Heydrich type of psychopath. No, Voss is a great villain because he’s a genuine intellectual. He is sadistic, twisted, utterly committed to Nazi ideology but he is also educated, clever, informed and knowledgeable- as, or possibly more than Indy himself. That’s what makes him so threatening and compelling, that he’s actually capable of out-triviaing Dr Jones but would use that knowledge in service of he greatest evil in history. I wanted to see more of Voss and Indy going at each other intellectually, because those moments here Voss tests Indy but he proves he’s just as clever as Voss are what makes this game such a great opportunity to show the duality of Indy and why he’s a great character. He isn’t a brute who punches his way out of everything, he’s a genius who can punch his way out of situations when called to it. And you need a smug nerd like Voss to make that apparent. Will I replay this game countless times? No, absolutely not. But will I cherish the memories of playing this game as much as I cherish the memories of first watching the trilogy? Absolutely, yes.
Ikr!? The title could of been something like “Indians Jones and the Wheel of God” or something like that and it would have been a lot more interesting.
@adamblackedition5529 I said i think they should not i demand it plus it would give people an option of play style that would increase players satisfaction.
Honestly I got bored after an hour or so. The prologue mission, the start of Raiders of the lost ark I loved, it really got me hooked on the game. during the 2nd mission I got bored, it just felt I was doing side mission after side mission but never actually meeting the criteria to continue the main story
I'm tired. I dont know how long I can endure the screaming, the insults and the put downs and hits my guardian gives me. I was slapped, hit and kicked over purchasing carbonated soda over the weekend, because I was banned by my guardian for drinking soda too much. She hit me because apparently, carbonated water was the same thing as soda. She wanted me to drink water from the fridge. I was then kicked for not cleaning the cat pans up to her standards. I dont know what to do now. I'm just praying for it all to end at this point.
A damn spoiler alert would've been nice. Watched because fizhy and I seem to like the same kinda games so I figured he would have a good general review of the game not to straight up start spilling the entire fucking story
nothing has been spoiled except for you.. grow up and just play the game, you're not gonna remember anything from this video when you start to play the game
@adamblackedition5529 dude it's an expensive game that paid for an expensive ass console to play. The games brand new and I absolutely remember what he was talking about. Get your head out of your self centered ass and realize just because you're mentally ill and can't remember jack shit, don't project that onto me 🤡
@adamblackedition5529 Just because your memory is shit doesn't mean everyone else's is. Spoiler alert are there for a reason. Quit trying to tell me what I will remember and how I will feel. Your entire position is "it don't matter to me so it must not matter to anyone else" some people work for what they buy and spoilers ruin the plot which wastes a significant amount of money. Get out of your mom's basement and experience life a bit and get over yourself
IMO that was grasping at straws... So many people wanted to hate it before it came out. I've played well over 40 hours of it at this point and it stays very true to the source material.
@christopherbucher7017 That's fair enough then. I honestly don't know either way about it. I've always loved anything to do with Indy, so I hope it's good 👍
The locations you visit have their indigenous races and native spoken languages which is the right way of doing diversity (just like the original films). The only part I could see an argument is one of the female characters that mentions she had a relationship with another woman that had no repercussion or relevance to the overall plot.
5:18 The most British joke ever and yet it feels like something Indy would say.
Fizhy putting up some great content, as always

Get this man to a million subs!
21:48 its not a bug mate its indys comfort bag he gets shy and scared in new places he needs to carry it sometimes to calm himself down
You didn’t have to do Todd THAT dirty with the Troy Baker comparison, c’monnnnn 😭😂
Why did they introduce him like The Chaser joke had me. All round brilliant video!
9:45 best joke

I encountered this bug
Same. I spent ages stuck in the puzzle rooms beneath the Vatican
@Fizhy what did you do to get past it? Here's hoping you don't have to do an entirely new playthrough
Hell YES once again
I really hope we get another one this game is so fun if you’re a fan of Indiana Jones. I just am not sure if he has the audience he used to since there hasn’t been much good since the Lego game to keep people excited for him.

He is dead.
I hit him with a hammer hard enough to destroy the end.
He is not asleep
Death is a sort of sleep. 😂
Guard is in eternal sleep
When I hit someone with something like a hammer I just have to yell out “THAT MAN IS DEAD. HE IS NOT BREATHING INDY!”
Ejoyed my sunday watching this new Indiana Jones movie
He did the thing I hoped for! I know what I’m doing for the next 27 minutes.

Just tell us the answer to all of our biggest question... Did he eat that circle?
Was that Tony Todd or should I say was the big guy that broke into the office based on him?
Locus was indeed played by Tony Todd in his last role, he Provided both Voice and Mocap for the Character.
When do you think an on screen adaptation will be made? I feel like it has some potential
A canon honoring adventure with plenty of side content, rather than the woke catastrophe so many were predicting?
Delightful 🤠👍
I assure you, the reasons y'all were saying the game's woke are still in the game.
This is like 1st person uncharted it will never make sense to me.
It seems like it makes sense to you
I think they should of given you an option of 3rd or 1st Person View.
no they shouldn't
@adamblackedition5529 I said i think they should not i demand it plus it would give people an option of play style that would increase players satisfaction.
@@rodan9773 no it wouldn't, cos youd just find something else to moan about, you'd never be happy....

Just here for the “there should be a 3rd person option” and “but I can’t see my character” crybabies.
Be better if could play it in third person aswell as first person. First person as a choice but not as a compulsory.
It's a fun game, I enjoyed the first half hour. Now, would you kindly play mafia
This is like watching a new Indiana Jones movie we deserve. I don't think Dial of Destiny was bad but this game is far superior
Dial of Destiny was bad.
Funny how most of the “gaming” community was bitching and complaining about this game when it was announced lmao
Just looks like a reskinned Wolfenstein
What fucking wolfenstein did you play?

🙌🏿💥🔥
There is a dlc
Bro is really trying to describe what first person is in gaming... 😂
First

It's a game
I had heard nothing but bad things about this... DEI nonsense mainly...What's it saying..?

there is no DEI nonsense, if you love indy, you'll love this game.. its getting rave reviews by pretty much everyone
They kept Indiana Jones as a white man.
Did they pay you?
Shitty AI and crappy girl boss character ruined it for me
