Big Mahalo to the gentleman that explained to me how to check my unit 😊and battery, how to clean the connectors, steps to reset the unit, etc. Not even the Inogen customer service couldn't help me and they never called back like they she said they would.
Glad we helped!
Can we download on our computer the Inogen Checklist this gentleman talks about? That would be great!
What does 'Oxygen Error' mean? I've ordered new sieve from Inogen and it's on the way. I have filters that go under the cannula piece on top of the machine.
"Oxygen Error" on your oxygen concentrator can indicate several possible issues, such as a problem with the oxygen flow, a blocked air intake filter, or a malfunctioning internal component.
Since you have already ordered a new sieve from Inogen, it is possible that the error could be related to the sieve needing replacement. However, it is also important to check other components such as the air intake filter and cannula filters, which may need cleaning or replacement.
If you have checked and addressed all possible causes of the "Oxygen Error" and the issue persists, it may be necessary to contact the manufacturer or a certified repair technician for further assistance. They may be able to provide more specific guidance and help diagnose and resolve the issue.
I replaced the columns last year after a warning light came on. I haven't used the inogen G4 much, but I feel like the columns should have lasted much longer than this. I got a pair thru Amazon for around $90, I don't see other types f air columns available. What should I do? the warning lightis on, and I need to take a trip
The unit should be used atleast 10 hours every month. If the warning light is related to sieve beds, then they must have hardened due to no or low usage and might require replacement. If the error is related to some other issue, please contact your vendor for service options.
i would never wipe the particle filter with a cloth. but some good advice in this video.
What does " O2 delivery error" mean? And how do I fix it?
"O2 delivery error" means that there is an issue with the delivery of oxygen from your oxygen concentrator to your nasal cannula or oxygen mask. This can happen for a variety of reasons, such as a blockage in the tubing, a malfunctioning compressor, or a low battery charge.
To fix the issue, you should first check your oxygen tubing and make sure there are no kinks, knots, or blockages. If the tubing is clear, try resetting the oxygen concentrator by turning it off and unplugging it for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on. If the issue persists, you may need to contact the manufacturer or a qualified technician for further assistance and potential repairs.
What can I do to help out my Aunty. Her Inogen G4 is beeping and the indicator window says, "OVERHEATING"????
If your aunt's Inogen G4 is beeping and indicating "OVERHEATING," there are a few steps you can take to address the issue:
1. Make sure the device is placed in a well-ventilated area: Ensure that the Inogen G4 is not placed in an enclosed space or covered, as proper ventilation is important to prevent overheating.
2. Check the air intake filter: Remove and inspect the air intake filter for any dirt, dust, or blockage. Clean or replace the filter if necessary, as a clogged filter can lead to overheating.
3. Allow the device to cool down: If the device has been running for an extended period, it may have heated up. Turn off the Inogen G4 and allow it to cool down for a while before turning it back on.
4. Contact Inogen customer support: If the issue persists or if you are unsure about troubleshooting steps, it is best to contact Inogen's customer support for further assistance. They can provide specific guidance based on the device model and troubleshoot the issue over the phone.
Remember, it is important to address any issues with oxygen concentrators promptly, as they are essential for maintaining proper oxygen therapy.

I have a long haired cat and my concentrator is on the floor. It would seem the filter should be filled with fur, etc. I have had this for two years. At no point has there been ANYTHING on the filter. Could this mean it has never worked even it made noise and said it wasn't working well.
Inogen G4 filters are pretty effective filtering out the air particles. As mentioned in the video, the particle filters require regular clean up. If you care cleaning up the filters, the dust won't accumulate on it for long. If you think your concentrator is making loud noise, please contact your equipment provider for service options.
