Teaching us about the last day signs and second coming is also a means to giving us eternal perspective; it helps us look beyond the chaos in the world and reminds us that that while it appears that the world is winning too many battles, the Lord will win the war; it comforts us and gives us hope and peace of mind by letting us know that the chaos now and tribulation to come is necessary; it gives meaning to what’s happening and let’s us focus on the big picture and God’s plan. It reminds us that God’s promises will be fulfilled and that we need not fear.

Yes, Moses was awed by how small humanity was in the grand scheme of things, but he also learned what he really was - Mos 1:13 - which is a very important perspective to have.
look down. to molecules, then atoms. Look to sub atomic particles the baryonic matter and the fermionic energy. Look closer. See the quarks arranged in patterns of 3's that make them up. Now we go further down and see strings. The pattern of vibration making up the quarks. What force set them to vibrating? Creation itself. Zoom out to galactic and intergalactic distances. Then clusters and super clusters of galaxies. These are part of bigger groups laid out in a web that has an uncanny resemblance to neural tissue. Along with super voids. All this strung along a pattern of main axises. The human scale fits near exactly the middle of the scale between UP and Down. How blessed are we to know the vastness of our Father's work as far as our knowledge will let us?!?

Asking questions about the creation of the earth was the very question that started my journey back to God! I was "lost" and being a curious 6-7 year old I started questioning life. God heard me and intervened (By the power of His hand..He brought me to the promised land). He changed my life and because of Him...I live! I'm not sure how many other 6-7 year olds ask these kinds of questions...but I felt in my being that there was more to life. No-one could give me an answer that satisfied my wondering soul. But God himself. I've always been a deep thinker and always ask questions. And my Father in Heaven knew that...because He knows me personally. He worked miracles on my behalf! Oh how my heart swells with Thanksgiving for His love for me as His daughter on earth!
Cuz you are so brilliant and use the scriptures so brilliantly I would love to hear your perspective on if we as individual Spirits almost souls, humans, I've only lived this one mortal life outside of the spirit world?

Think about the way the Lord God describes these things, he says worlds with number have I created thine I could not Pierce even the tiniest bit of these, how much absolute power is truly truly behind those simple words, puts into perspective the power behind on the other words we read in scriptures

I wish to share to others I also have noticed an important addition to the creation account is found in DC 88:6-13, where we are taught that life originated when the light of Christ filling the expanse and how by the power of God, that light is incorporated into the sun, earth, moon and stars. I hope this comment might also edify in addition to the video.
It's fine that there's ads. The people working on the videos as a job could use the ad revenue. I just wish the algorithm would choose better ad placement, instead of mid sentence or mid words on some videos. Or that the creators had the desire to fix those issues manually.

Why is this significant? A revolving Earth rotating around the Sun at a fixed right angle would have extremely predictable climate zones, weather patterns, and habitable areas. An Earth tilted on its axis has 4 distinct seasons. It has variety in its climate and weather patterns. Randomness and variety instead of a predictable, unchanging world. Can we not appreciate the Summer unless we endure a Winter?
I ask myself your same questions about my computer. It’s not necessarily consciousness, but rather it is referred to in d&c 93 as intelligence. Truth is the quote you are referencing deals with a specific subject of Mormonism that most rarely delve into in any depth. Essentially there is a quote out there suggesting that the elements have some level of minimal intelligence and agency. This is best exemplified by Christ commanding the elements (water) peace be still during a storm. Pretty sure if one of us were to stretch forth our hand and command water in a similar matter that the water wouldn’t obey.
