I played Planetbase last year, both Class M and Class S until I reached all milestones. While the Class S video did ok, the Class M video was a real success. It's a new year, and I used that opportunity to play the game some more! I mean, I beat everything the game has to offer a long time ago, and I only play this game once a year nowadays, if at all. But now I'm curious what makes you so angry! XD
@@MichaelJGetsTheJobDone As you say, you eventually get around to everything, but I always built storage and power storage as a priority. Medium water extractors. Trade ships were also a first priority. Again, there's no wrong way if you succeed, but it's like wanting to drive the car, but having to be a passenger 😂 Now I want to boot up the game again. I love the no commentary!
Great game, though I haven't really loaded it up in a few years. IMO, there's still a lot of unfulfilled potential, so it's kind of sad that the developers have moved on. Yes, I know the game is in a good state, but it could be fleshed out more to make it even more enjoyable.
I know what you mean! If you beat the game, there isn't much reason to keep playing because every playthrough is basically the same. Last year, I played this game for the first time in years. I was actually thrilled to play it again. This time, I basically only played it for the channel because I'm still good from last year myself! What would you've wanted to be added to the game? I'm a sucker for storylines and campaigns myself. There's this event during which injured soldiers ask for landing permissions. That alone could've been enough to spin a story around: there's a space war raging, and you're building outposts ever closer to the frontline to ensure transport of goods and treatment of the injured. The intruders could be enemy soldiers or operatives. But hey, the dev's followup game Dawn of Man was awesome as well! It's just unfortunate that they gave up on city building games afterward! :(
Saw an ad for this for a mobile game with the Martin Alien queen as a boss, did they make that one too? it's almost the same, with mobile stuff attached.
