I listened to a couple of Marlin vs. Brewers games with Bob announcing. I did my work with the TV in the background and NEVER watched the tube. Bob’s play by play was so good, that I didn’t need a television…… just listened to him and “saw” the game in my mind’s eye. THAT is talent!
Lived in Milwaukee and the Milwaukee area my whole life (56). I haved listen to him on radio every year. He was part of your summers hearing his voice. Just not going to be the same. We will miss Ueck in this area. Thank thank you for all the memories and great calls.
Bob Uecker, Thanks for the funny memories ! ! ! Sympathy to your family, friends, City of Milwaukee & all who will miss Mr. Baseball. "He missed the Tag, he missed the Tag !". MLB . . . Thanks for retrospect. Can you find video of his HR off of Sandy Koufax? HOF ! Did he win a World Series?
First time I met Bob uecker was outside the Brewers locker room during the 1980 season he signed a baseball for me before you got into his red Jaguar since then I have talked to him and he signed the other things for me he is a icon for Milwaukee he will be missed. Dearly summer baseball games with the Brewers on the radio will not be the same without his voice there rest in peace Bob you're not in the front row
I have some very fond memories of my late father & me watching his appearances on The Tonight Show w/ Johnny Carson. (September 23rd, 1971) "Just a bit outside" Would be an honorable epitaph for Mr. Baseball
God this really hit me. I got to know him through the Johnny carson show! It got to a point where we would look forward to seeing him!😂😊😊❤ rest in peace Bob Eucker! You will always be remembered!❤
He was never funny. He was very boring and he’s overhyped. He should have retired years ago. Anyone associated with buddy selig is a stain on baseball 😢
Juuuuussst a bit outside, tried the corner and missed is iconic
Ball 4. Ball 8. Ball, and vaughn has walked the bases loaded on 12 straight pitches! How can these guys lay off pitches so close?!?
You know what's even better about major league. The director didn't even give him lines. Ueck wrote his own.

I became a fan of his after seeing him in the Major League movies, then started listening to his great play-by-play commentary for the Brewers.
An amazing man. One of the greatest to ever call the game. He may be gone. But the joy he brought to us all will last a lifetime.
All of us as a nation and family of the greatest game in the world, he will be very very missed. We love you Bob. Godspeed.

There are athletes who have done more for Wisconsin but only Giannis comes close to Ueck as a beloved figure.

Sad day for Brewers fans
❤
The goat!
Another Legend gone to soon.
“Playing for the Phillies I was pulled over for drunk driving. I was fined $350; $50 for the drunk driving and $300 for playing for the Phillies.”
“I won the AAA player of the year award; it was my second year in the majors.”
How can these guys lay off pitches that close?
Stop feeding Belvedere!
It's going to be a rough opening day next year.
Bob Uecker did for baseball what John Madden did for football

Are you like trying to be funny? Because you're not. Stop dissing my boy Bob.
@ I’m sorry he passed. As announcer hung around way too long. And was never funny or insightful. Just a hack. Rest in peace
