Got a 2023 Sportage but mine has the digital speedometer mode and can't for the life of me figure out (if possible) how to switch it to the analog mode. The instructions here change the theme of the digital mode except it doesn't say classic A, B or C but theme A, B or C
Thanks for this. Did you do a software update to access these clusters? Via kia connect? i just bought my xline yesterday and it does not show these options, i can only change the theme (brightness/color).
Unfortunately that all depends on your country. For whatever reason some countries that get the 12.3" digital instrument cluster don't get all of the theme options. Here in Canada our X-Line has the smaller screen, but the SX Prestige & X-Line Prestige in the U.S. gets it. It came right from factory, no update required. Thanks for watching! - Andrew

Yes it does! Here in Canada, all trim levels have the cluster with the purple around it except for the X-Line Limited AWD that has this full 12.3" digital instrument cluster! It's something to do with our trim levels with the larger screens (10.25" or 12.3"), and maybe a licensing or software issue with those. I haven't seen a straight answer other than it's not coming in an update now. And yes, all of the trim levels with the 8" screen have wireless CarPlay and Android Auto because they have different software in them. If something changes, I'll be sure to touch base on it because I want wireless too in our X-Line Limited AWD! Thanks for watching! - Andrew
I was told it was because the higher trims (anything other than base, LX) has its own navigation system built into the car… the two systems (apple car play) don’t mesh well together… so you either get one or the other. the lowest trim WITHOUT nav on its own, has wireless apple car play. the ones WITH nav, you have to plug in:( i wondered the same thing… wireless apple car play would have been cherry on top of the wireless charging…

You can't change the speedometer while on the Dynamic Theme. It only changes to analog gauges in the other themes, and you can have a digital speedometer in the middle. Thanks for watching! - Andrew
It very well could be the auto shut off timer, if you've opened the door for long enough the timer starts to shut down the vehicle in case you left it running by mistake. As soon as the driver door is closed and you tap the brake pedal, the timer will stop. There is no true turning it off permanently though. - Andrew
I just bought my 2023 Kia Sportage XLine AWD and I don't have these options under cluster themes. I only have three options and all they do is change the color. I want the dials instead of digital numbers. Any ideas? Bought mine in Texas
That means the trim level you have is equipped with the 4.2" instrument cluster, not the 12.3" digital instrument cluster. The only thing that can be changed on the 4.2" are the colours unfortunately, and no way to change from the digital guages. Thanks for watching! - Andrew

@jnadoty This will vary by country. Here in Canada, only the X-Line Limited AWD trim has the 12.3" digital instrument cluster. All of the other trims have a "digital cluster" that is two screens in one, but it's only the outer screen that you can change a bit of the colour. - Andrew

I have the SX Prestige in US. MY dynamic screen does not show the car; only shows auto stop and trip info. Any idea why this is? I have changed driving modes and still cannot changer it. Thank you!
The car in the middle is the Lane Safety/Cruise screen, if it's not listed, you might be able to go down to an option that says something like view contents, that screen might be disabled. That's just my guess! Thanks for watching! - Andrew
It will show the car, but you need to used the Menu button to select the right menu to show it. I have the SX Prestige in USA, so I know this is correct

@@miketinkler79 If your dials look like 2 C's pointed towards each other, it is not the 12.3'' digital instrument cluster, it is the 4.2'' instrument cluster. Only the centre 4.2'' inch LCD is configurable, the others are fixed with only color customization.
That is the 'instant' fuel economy gauge. If you accelerate hard, you'll see the gauge go up fast. If you are cruising a steady speed, you'll see it hovering around a specific spot to let you know that's the current fuel usage. Thanks for watching! - Andrew
I just got a ‘24 and I hate the dash. It’s so ugly, and the only thing you can do is change the color of the “rings” (and they give you only 3 color choices too). I would much rather have any of these 4 options than what the new models have.

I love my prestige but wish they would have included ambient lighting and folding mirrors at the highest price point.
