    Andrew: I just watched every single one of your helpful Kia Sportage instructional videos and want to tell you how grateful I am and how much I appreciate all the time and effort you've put into these incredibly informative tutorials. They have been extremely helpful and have made my transition into a new 2023 Xline Limited an absolute breeze. I sure hope KIA recognizes your selfless and generous contribution to all KIA owners, old and new. Thank you again, Andrew. Cheers!

      Wow, thank you very much @MichaelBacon for your kind words! We'll have to see if they notice me in little 'ol Niagara Falls, haha! Thanks for watching everything! Stay tuned for more! - Andrew

    Another super useful and clear video Andrew! Really appreciated.
    Took delivery of my brand new Kia Sportage Hybrid in Scotland just over a week ago and have driven over 500 miles now. Totally love it. So much brilliant tech - and having watched your videos I was able to program everything and not get phases by it before I went on a 450 mile drive the day after I took delivery. Parking is hugely easier with the cameras. And motorways are so much more relaxing with the clever cruise control. Big thanks from Scotland

    Thanks from the UK for your great Sportage vids. They are much better then trolling through the manual.

    Thank you. I really appreciate these videos, I have a 2024 Hybrid, and I haven't been able to find videos for 2024 yet.

      The videos for the 2023 essentially work the same as the 2024. There may very fewer minor tweaks to the software, but the videos for the 2023 work just the same! Thanks for watching! - Andrew

    I've had my 2023 Sportage Hybrid EX for a couple weeks now. I only drive to work and back, so about 7 miles a day max. My MPG is all over the place. Never above 32mpg which is disappointing since at least a third of my driving is EV only. Hopefully I'll get better results from longer drives.

      I would imagine it'll take a good few fuel fill-ups and more mileage on the car for it to start to even out more. It's getting used to your driving style, highway vs city vs combined. Still an amazing vehicle! Thanks for watching! - Andrew

      They really do help. Just wish they were a bit longer. I’m in the UK and your in Canada yet no one else does helpful videos on how to use all the Sportage features like you do. Appreciate it.

    Thank you. I have a Sportage on order here in Australia so while some things will be different (eg steering wheel on the right) no doubt things shown in this video will be the same.
    My vehicle will probably not be delivered till mid year.

    I have heard a complaint that if you turn off the car the day trip immediately resets... Bit of a design flaw if you ask me.... When filling up the gas tank all data is gone of. That trip.

    • @CardinalKia
      @CardinalKia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That's why there are three different trip counters. There is no day trip, just one per drive, since you last put fuel in, and one that never resets unless you reset it. You could reset the accumulated one everyday if that's how you want to monitor it. Thanks for watching! - Andrew

    This is a demo car?? Why the cheaper dashboard? It's the first time I see this..... The instrument panel is one of the sexiest part of the Sportage.

    • @CardinalKia
      @CardinalKia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Agreed, haha! This is the starting trim level, the look of the dash changes as you go up in trims. Thanks for watching! - Andrew

      @@CardinalKia Ahhh okay?? Here we only have 2 x 12" instrument cluster in each trim

    • @CardinalKia
      @CardinalKia  ปีที่แล้ว

      We get the 12.3" infotainment screen starting at the EX trim. Wouldn't surprise me if it goes standard one day! - Andrew

      @@CardinalKia Kia Connect app is easy to use but definitely has some quirks you might be able to decipher for the YT audience.
      Good videos I bought a Kia Niro last month been very happy with the car.

  • @Thomasjcolbert82

    Can the EX change the cluster to round gauges? I don’t like how that is really.

    • @CardinalKia
      @CardinalKia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Unfortunately not, only the trim levels with the full 12.3" digital instrument cluster can be changed that way. Thanks for watching! - Andrew

    I just bought a 2018 Kia sportage for some reason it doesn’t display miles to empty how can I change this?

    • @CardinalKia
      @CardinalKia  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hmm, all of ours here in Canada show it by default. That might have to been show to your local Kia to see if there is an option for it! Sorry! - Andrew

      Same thing happening to us. All the sudden the KM to empty is going up, not down

    • @604bcqtpie
      @604bcqtpie ปีที่แล้ว

      Ours is now going up instead of down, how can we switch it back. I can’t find any info about this. Pls help!!!

    • @CardinalKia
      @CardinalKia  ปีที่แล้ว

      @604bcqtpie I'm not aware of an option to make it switch.. I'd take that to your local Kia and maybe have them perform a hard reset! Good luck! - Andrew
