An added thing about the shield striker is it's also really good for grinding gearbits for the boomtron 5000 (for some reason boom boost can be used in time trials and that is definitely where the breakaway starts changing for those times,.except for frozen fossil festival since that's just one lap)
Great video. I'd love to note how great the gold rusher is against bosses damage wise, especially in the demo derby level. You can spam the secondary bomb barrel attack for like 400 damage per barrel supercharged, or in a tech zone. Also, while not a figure, instant hot streak can be summoned if you are using a portal from the previous games. This is great if you need a quick go to vehicle, or for wii u players that got barrel blaster instead, but still want to use hot streak. Not that hot streak is that expensive, but still.
i’d just like to say something, even if it doesn’t really relate to what the video is about. i’ve always loved how none of the skylanders games (that i’ve played) don’t require you to buy any figures or bonus assets to get all the trophies on playstation (i’m not sure about xbox.) when i was 8 and playing the games, i was always worried about not being able to complete them because of how rare pretty much all the skylanders i wanted were. just the fact alone that all you need to complete any of the games is 1 skylander is amazing to me. you need more skylanders to truly experience the games, but you don’t need them to complete them. (at least trophy-wise.)
Thinking of skylanders beast tamers like superchargers but instead of vehicles Skylanders rides beasts The new lineup is made up of 20 new beasts riders (that's 10 (or 12) completely new characters and 10 (or 8) reimagined returning characters) and matching 20 beasts. Any Skylander can use any beasts but each has a specific paired that tamers power the beasts when they are used together, this changes the appearance of the beast and gives it extra power.
On the topic of Super Chargers I would say it is 100% worth it to pick up Super Chargers racing if you own a Wii or 3DS. Despite the poor graphics, the racing in that game is much more in-depth and fun than it’s mainline counterpart, and the game is dirt cheap as well.
I'm tempted to get a Wii for superchargers racing and SSA (since everyone says it's way better). Do you need like a subscription to play online multiplayer on wii?
@@theSkylandeer Unfortunately the Wii version of Super Chargers racing does not have online multiplayer. That feature is exclusive to the 3DS. The 3DS version of the game is honestly the better one of the two because of exclusive features such as online multiplayer, local multiplayer, and the ability to save all your figures and vehicles in game. I believe that the online multiplayer has been shut down on the 3DS but as far as I know the local multiplayer is still up and running.
The vehicles are a mixed bag. The cars are fun when I'm just going down a straight road but feel awful when I'm stuck in a battle arena. The boats feel all around decent. The planes are boring.
I don't have a Nintendo System and haven't looked into their pricing but they're filled with references and kinda fun, though I know very little about their respective vehicles. Have heard good things though!

It doesn't seem to be offline, but it will be come March of 2024 because Nintendo is shutting down online connectivity for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U.
