What Traps do YOU have?
I have atleast one version of the water, life, earth, undead, air, magic, tech, fire, and kaos traps. And nfc cards for the dark and light traps and the sunscraper spire and midnight museum which all together only cost me like $12.

I wanna point this out: If you want a Light trap, try to find the Rocket! It’s by far the most accessible light trap, as the Owl is from the adventure pack and the Yawn is only available in Australia (Also some light rockets have Rebel Lob Goblin)
As a european i've never seen the yawn trap anywhere i heard it was only in australia
I had the spider dark trap and the owl light trap when i was younger, no clue where they are now.

Unless if you're talking about the light adventure pack. That's a place where the light owl is.
Kaos can be used for an infinite money glitch in the swamp level if you use the tech element attack on the chomp chest it will give a whole lot of money
That's true! I was planning on making a video about that.
From what i remember the chest is the easiest way to get money in general, i just played that level 8 times to max out both of the 2 starting characters i had at the time.
I had no idea that traps were expensive now, I bought my whole collection in a lot for like 25$ in 2018 and I was able to beat most of the games with it.

Air trap is super useful for buzzer beak since you can double jump higher using his slam ability. But that’s just for speedrunning and glitches I guess. Also rage mage can summon and orb that makes your skylander stronger. And his dash attack can be used for some cheese in certain areas

A little fun fact. I found a dark element expansion pack at target back in 2015 when it was still rare, so I actually own a dark spider trap.
It is one of the rarest items I have in my collection, and because of that, it is also one of my favorite items I own.

The best is the kaos trap. Just set his "ultimate doom" attack to the magic element that resets his timer and attack with doom sharks using the reset when you start getting a low timer. Makes everything really easy

It’s nice to sit back and realize that the things that I got for cheap at launch are now almost collectors items. I still have all my traps from back in the day, except for air sadly. I actually got the ultimate Kaos trap, because I beat the game and my parents got me the dark starter pack AFTER I BEAT THE GAME for the extra Skylanders, duplicate traps, and low and behold, ultimate Kaos trap. I’m very thankful for everything in that set, as the version of the game I replay now is the one that came with that dark starter pack.

I was able to find 3 light owl traps, 2 for 35 bucks each and 1 for 40 bucks each. Got the one in best looking condition for 35 bucks and none of the villians were evolved and the villian was luminous. I'm pretty sure the person finished the sunscraper spire and then never used it again lol. Edit. Autocorrect made sunscraper subscriber. Lol, subscriber spire
DAMN that is a lot of money to spend on some traps
Personally I think only two light villains are good (blastermind and luminous)

When I was like 5, me and my cousins had trap team with a couple figures, at my grandpas house. When we started playing other things I found them hidden behind a pile of stuff years later. He let me take the figures, traps and portal, and now I have 1 trap of every element besides light and dark, a couple solid figures, and the portal. Later on I got the game, and those memories of the figures hold a special place in my heart.
I'm really glad they didn't get lost, the memories are sometimes the best part about skylanders.

My favorite feature of all the games. The crystals are just beautiful on their own, but then you get the talking portal. Tagging in and out also keeps your Skylander around a little longer

I have a trap for element and it's so fun unlock all the villains. Light and Dark villains seem so "special" and for me if you want fun, they're all good to buy. Sorry for the english.

I have atleast one trap of every element except light and dark, and i also lack any Kaos trap at all
But if i remember correctly i had 2 life, water and undead traps specifically, but i didn't have 3 of any element (maybe i has a third water trap but i don't remember so I'd have to check). But i always wanted a light trap (wich i never got) so i could play as one of my fav. villains, Blaster-Tron, none of the dark villains other than Tae-Kwon-Crow seemed interesting to me except maybe Nightshade and even then those 2 weren't very interesting to me so i never asked my parents for a dark trap, other than that my other fav villains in the game wich i WAS able to play as were (not in any specific order): Wolfgang, Hood-Sickle, Cuckoo-Clocker, Scrap-Shooter, Bruiser-Cruiser, Pain-Yatta, Brawl and Chain and Shednaught

Tae kwon crow has one of if not the highest DPS values in the game. He is absolutely insane vs kaos

About Kaos being the only villain you can play infinitely, Thats actually not true.
Bone Chompy can also be played infinitely as long as you can constantly cling onto small/medium sized enemies and drain them for time.

2 of the tech villains are locked behind the expansion packs so if you don't have them then you're only getting 4 tech villains!
While shopping for some ✨GLITTER✨, I came across a retro shop. What was in this retro shop, you may ask? Easy; skylanders. In this box full of skylanders, I found a bunch of series 2 reposes that I had never gotten before. In addition to this, my eyes came upon the dark Easter Bunny trap. All skylanders, including the trap, were 5 BUCKS each. What a steal.

I remember buying a trap team lot with like half of the trap masters, light and dark pack (just not the original traps that came with it but the sword and rocket) and some cores for around €80,00. Best lot ever 😂

Kaos is easily the best villain BY FAR. The money is absolutely worth it. Kaos makes every other villain look like Smash Brawl Ganondorf, while he looks like Brawl Meta Knight, it’s absolutely insane. You can use his magic element attack to gain infinite time with him, and you can use his undead element attack to do around 800 damage, around 1000 on a crit. 800 damage is INSANE, that’s more damage than most Skylanders do in terms of their highest potential dps, even topping some trap masters. Not only that, but his undead attack spawns a food item each time it hits something. Even in nightmare mode, Kaos makes it look like a joke. Just in case anyone didn’t know, you can hold his elemental attack to cycle through each element, to select which specific element you want, so you can keep spamming the undead attack for UNHOLY dps. It’s gotten to the point where I refuse to use Kaos unless I’m leveling up a new skylander in the Kaos Doom Challenge, because he’s so broken that it makes the game boring and too easy, imo.
yeah, Kaos basically breaks the game. overpowered villains kinda ruin the fun
I found the Kaos trap, fire totem trap, and tech knight trap for $10 back during trap team's life-span. It was funny, since those were the 3 traps (Aside from light and dark) that I needed lmao. And 9 years later, I haven't bought another trap, because I couldn't find light and dark traps or adventure packs, and I was a kid at the time who had parents who didn't allow me to spend much money.e

You can still kinda see that Kaos was supposed to be the magic element. If you go to Skylanders academy and go to one of the spinning blocks as Kaos and switch back to your Skylander (That isnt a magic element) it shows up as Magic

I remember about a year before toys r us closed there was a (I think) $2 trap bin, me and my brother found the only kaos trap and bought it

I've been trying to get a light trap for a looooonnnnnng time, I'm just debating if it would be worth $40 for me to get. Of course I have the NFC cards as an option, but there's something about a physical trap that just looks amazing
Physical traps are definitely a lot better than NFC cards because they'll light up and actually go in the trap slot. However, I do not believe the price is justified whatsoever AND I'd also recommend the dark trap over the light trap due to (in my opinion) better villains.

i do not have the problem of not being able to find stuff for a good price, as i just use blank nfc cards and write the figure data to them
bought a light trap in 2018 with the spire for 30 bucks, and they gave me two by accident. Gonna sell one in a year to make 60ish bucks. Its the rocket if anyones interested

this is true! I didn't include the different effects of the traps in Superchargers for this video but the earth trap is the best for vehicles

yeah, trap team was the most expensive game by far and also required you to spend the most to 100% it
I got all three magic traps with a trap chest alongside 17 other traps for about 200 was not a terrible price but not the best way to do it
