    Legend mate, I'm tackling my first custom intercooler on my 4x4 and couldn't understand half of what others were saying

    Thank you for this step by step video! I went through a couple of videos trying to figure out pie cutting. You were to the point on how to set up the chop saw, measuring the tube,and explaining how by cutting the bottom of the pie you will either get a wider or narrower bend. Keep up the awesome work!

    More fabrication, for sure. Definitely the most interesting thing on the channel.

    Damn bro , this is awesome I’m still fairly new to custom piping and this answered so many questions I’ve had. Like holding up pipe without magnets hah

    I find on my saw I made a pointer and layout lines on both sides of pipe.. now when I cut.. spin pipe so pointer aims at line cut.repeat till all your pieces are cut..

    Do you mind sharing what blades you use specifically for aluminum vs stainless? Thanks for the walkthrough, great vid!

    i would assume, the same process applies for stainless exhaust? carbide chop saw is still ok and won't burn up on the stainless? new blade/sanding belt so not to contaminate with mild steel. and back purge when welding up of course. you could also do 7.5* cuts for a 15* piece (6 to make a 90 degree bend) correct?

    Nice video. My only suggestion would be to say that you're asking for trouble wearing gloves while operating power tools.

    What kinda of saw and blade used ? Still using it? Thanks

    Did you use the stock blade on that chop saw? would you use the same blade on Stainless Pipe or use a Stainless Steel blade?

      @NvautoCa  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Max Shapiro no you need the appropriate blade for the material you are cutting.

    Wouldn't the bandsaw be more accurate?

    Correct me if I’m wrong but is that a timber blade ? lol

    • @callofgeorge
      @callofgeorge 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      carbide metal cutting blade most likely. that's a metal chop saw (note the clamp on it). but you can use a carbide tipped somewhat fine tooth wood cutting blade for aluminum because of how soft it is.

    5° cuts are very unusual. 🤔
