So glad I found this video! I've been struggling on some .065 intercooler piping and your settings have really helped. The welds are not super pretty but far better than the trash I was producing. Having the correct setup makes a huge difference. Now I just need some more seat time.
I never got the chance to go to welding school, I learned on the job. This just showed me what im doing wrong on my aluminium welds. Thanks I needed this for sure!! Now i got it for sure.
awesome video, idk why so many "weld instructor" videos don't just tell you how each setting effects what... Thanks for also showing that trick on how to melt a ball onto the end of the tungsten, and explaining how HZ effects heat and arc width, and penetration. these other jalopies want you to buy their course and just tell you enough confuse the piss out of you. Lot of solid information packed into this video!
Very cool vid! Who knew when we both got all Growed up we'd both be mad scientists! Very cool effect when you're welding and it "appears" that all the lights dim in the shop, either you're FX budget is way bigger than mine, or it just works out that way welding through the camera.
Looks great! I get really pretty welds with the pipe horizontal, , but I can weld a big spool of pipe a lot faster with the pipe vertical. With the pipe vertical, I do not have reposition it to quarter weld it.
Doesn’t really matter what he has it plugged into. The settings will only allow you to go up so high on 110v. The settings he shared will be doable on 110

Great video, lots of learning from this information. Thanks buddy.
I bought this exact welder for this exact thing lol. Glad to have found this video.
Props for knowledge and quality 🤘 . It shows you don't need a 7,000 Miller dynasty to get it on proper.
Thanks for the tips, learning at home for some pro charger intake work I’m training for.
Good info, thank you for making this video. I'm just starting to tig myself, so I take all the tips I can get.
Looking forward to more fab videos. Good shit. 👍

Nice control with holding that wire out so far. Small motor function development. Nice Pin.
Great video, keep up the great werk!!!
May have missed it. But do you recommend assembling aluminum vbands before welding?

Thank you this video!!
Please keep doing these!

Thanks
So can you sand the welds an polish the pipe .
Thanks for the info
I love my ahp
So might be dumb question but did you have it plugged into 110v or 240v? I only have 110v in my garage so thats what I run on

All that time wasted the tape was right under your arm the whole time lol
