I thought of the exact same thing. I would LOVE a series with one minifig-diorama from each movie that could be put in a nice chronological row beside each other
@@Linus_B oh absolutely! It be insane if they’d listen to us all and do some prequel ‘Adult’ sets. I agree but they are made for two different audiences. This one is made as a display piece rather than playset. But in Hindsight I agree I’d rather have the 30$ one
Remember that you can always get them at a discount. Normal LEGO prices are pretty much stupid tax by now. Getting this for 55-70 bucks will by ok I think. Definitely much better than the trench run in value
@@FrootNoobzSC I don't like Amazon because it puts small experienced stores out of business but I would recommend it for LEGO wich is a big company too. Yesterday I ordered the snow trooper Battlepack for 17,5€ and the At St for 35€. I think together that's actually a fair price paying in total 17,5€ below the official price. And it's going to be shipped fast. For 50€ and 20€ I wouldn't have made that purchase.
Great review, don't get me wrong really like the Chanel, but you guys should be the ones talking about the price cause lego does collect feedback from these videos and come on, they are expensive, don't make them too comfortable with these prices.
Pretty sure he is part of the Lego Ambassador Network (LAN), and there are certain things that they have to say when reviewing sets and certain things they aren't really allowed to say (part of which is why MandR is no longer part of LAN), which would probably include "I personally think this set is too expensive for what you get."
@@davidcoulter1058 yeah I agree David is great but there’s definitely some shilling going on here. Kinda sucks that he can’t really be all too critical with these reviews without potentially losing the benefits of LAN.
@@clonewars I know, and I’m not knocking the creators who choose to be part of LAN, but that’s the reality of the situation. Even in a scenario where they only have to be nice about sets they get sent for free, they would hardly criticise other sets they have paid for themselves if they could get cut from LAN because LEGO didn’t like what they said.
Best diorama out of the 3. Trash compactor is fun but the major drawback of that set is it only has 1 optimum viewing angle - straight on. Any other angles and your looking at the bad side of the walls. I think the Dagobah Hut is the sweet spot with the vines creating something similar to a background / wall to the set
I agree with you, the Mustafar diorama and the last duel between Vader and Obi-Wan would be awesome. But I really wish for a “I am your father” diorama, that would be amazing!!
Could have been a great excuse to give us a force ghost Obi-Wan. The Harry Potter ghosts (Moaning Myrtle, specifically) work really well IMO without needing transparency
Gonna be critical here: the wing of the X-wing is too small, Yoda can’t fit through the front door, and it’s overpriced. Looks decent but should be better for the price
I understand that but also it’s not a play set yoir not gonna sit and play with it abs I doubt your display it from behind. Plus the interior is perfect size to add a small flickering light
Yeah when a minifigure can't fit thru something that's inexcusably lazy. Its an easy fix and ruins the set imho. And that wing is small now that u mentioned it. Only thing this set has goin for it is the Yoda quote lol. But Empire is hands down my favorite Star Wars film so I always end up fanning out on the sets lol.
There is so much zen to this set; everything from wise master Yoda, Luke in meditation, the famous “….there is no try” quote and the overall design reminds me of a bonsai.
This set is amazing, really like the swamp area and the x-wing wing. I'd love a mandalorian diorama set though, maybe the scene from the butchery (BOBF) or maybe him finding grogu, heck, the forge would be amazing as well
Great review! But i have a feeling last two videos you are very quiet, i have my phone on max and have problems to hear you if any minor noise is around.
I think it’s finally time for LEGO to release a diorama set based on the bounty hunter scene of ESB. They can even put Vader’s quote “No disintegrations” or something.
I feel a Battle of Geonosis from AOTC diorama would be amazing. WIth a couple phase 1 clones, a clone Captain, and some Geonosis battle droids and maybe a Geonosian.
the Anakin - Padme wedding would be a cool diorama, we're never gonna get that as a normal set so it's a nice niche with an exclusive Padme outfit and brings some much needed prequel representation
I think they should make the living space from Padme's apartment! They can include all sorts of minifigures ranging from Jar Jar, Obi-Wan, and Bail Organa!
We need a Utapuaua diorama with Obi Wan, Grievous (correct color this time) and possibly a mark 2 clone trooper. It could even have a quote saying "Hello there".
Im ngl I understand why people are overly critical of these sets but i think a lot of people are missing the point of these sets, theyre display pieces for collectors, quite simply if you dont feel the price is justified dont buy it obviously, but for someone like me that likes nice display pieces idk these sets look really good to me and worth the value
The new dioramas are so nice. I think they are too expensive for sets of that size, but i think i will buy them anyway. Its like with new videogames, you can wait till they become cheaper, but you want to play them so bad, so you buy them on release day 😅
Nice set! Btw i don’t if its only me, but it seems that your audio is a little bit lower than other videos, i always have to increase it when watching.
I really don't understand why people place so much stock in 'price per piece', that metric only has any meaning if all pieces were created equal.. which they are not. This set has several hundred 1x1 trans green elements, you mean to tell me that these have the same value as several hundred (insert any brick of your choosing)? No, they don't. Assess the set for what it is, not how many pieces it contains.
RotJ dioramas would be nice: Final duel, Luke’s surrender to Vader, Speeder bike chase, Jabba’s throne room, R2 & 3PO arrival to Jabba’s Palace, Sarlacc pit, Emperor’s arrival on Death Star. For micro ship build could do Falcon and Xwing attacking core of Death Star 2.
i would love to see a diorama of mando walking past the spears with stormtrooper helmets on tatooine, or a yavin 4 celebration from the end of a new hope
I think a resisue off duel on bespin with a bit more detail and on the plate: Luke.....i am your father. The first set was so exclusive that it was impossible to get one. Also like the mention of the bounty Hunters scene with Vader. Al lot of mini figs there which can (should) be awesome.
I know a lot of people are complaining about the price. But, the piece count, exclusivity of the figures, and the end result do kind of justify this price.

It's funny that you would mention a possible future Anakin vs Obi-Wan diorama on Mustafar, because there's an AMAZING alternative build out there of Duel on Mustafar that turns it pretty much into a small diorama already ;) So I hope we get some other stuff first, since I kinda already have that one.
I would absolutely love if they did Duel of the Fates, Duel on Mustafar, Jedi Council Chamber, Palpatine’s Arrest, and both Death Star Duels in this Diorama form
The duel between dooku, obi wan and anakin would be cool too. Either episode 2 or 3 would be fine honestly, they could even add yoda or palpatine in one
looks nice like the other two not denying that but still either thinking about the price and there was a missed opportunity for a return of the jedi scene. two new hope scenes and one empire strikes back. off balanced.
