Imagine people seeing this 200 years ago. They'd be like: "what have thy brought upon the people, lord?" And then there'll be peeps in 50 years going "damn peasants not going brrr"
Wow, exceptional to see a pilot of this caliber and I do believe the F1 car went straight went straight through the main straight chicane like the old F1 cars. This straight was referred to as the engine breaker straight. well done love to see these things going on within such a large organization .
Ever watched a rally car event? ... Helicopters do this all the time. Not a big deal, just here the camera is pointed at the helicopter, not mounted to it... Oh and lots of editing to make it look "cool"
Gostaria de saber se existe manual do H160 com limitações de máquina. *Velocidade para autorrotação e velocidade de operação com trem de pouso abaixado?
Airbus helicopters is an European company. All 4 plants (Spain Albacete (rear fuse) France Marignane (final assembly) and Paris (rotor blates), Germany Donauwörth (helicopter cell and electric)) are involved in the development and the production of the h160. This is a great example of European cooperation. I am proud to work in such a company. Think European
Would love to see something similar to this again but using the Peugeot 9x8 hypercar and at Le man. After all Peugeot design lab played a roll in designing this awesome chopper.
fun flying.. great action packed event .. I organised the Robbe Schluter Cup.. in the UK way back in the 1980,s. similar events only using R/C model helicopters , and R/C boats .. Brilliant competitions .. and relatively safe . Market Bosworth . Nigel Riley's lake . The Helicopter Pilots had to touch down on floats in Big hula hoops anchored on the lake . then do a slalom course with an electric R/C speedy boat. Loads of crowd encouragement . Super memories . A few very wet R/C Helicopters .for the rescue boat volunteers ..
"alright Giuseppe, just take the car around the track at about 1/4 throttle, dont go to hot into the corners and make sure you dont lose the copter behind you."
Putting dramatic music over engine and rotor sounds feels to me like improving a piece of Schubert with some 8-bit Ringtone sounds. Beautiful shots though.
Helicopters can fuckin rip in a straight line dude, they probably reached more than 200km and considering how tight the corners were for that heli, that's impressive to me.
@@Roebuck325 straight line sure, some copters can but by the time that heli takes to change from going one direction to another, the f1 car would have been through the corner and going flat out onto the next corner
The heli didn’t actually need to bank, but it did anyway to compensate for the humongous balls the pilot lugs around to do 90 degree banked turns five meters off the deck
Who do you think is able and allowed to drive a current F1 car? Only the active and test drivers who are Daniel Ricciardo, Esteban Ocon and Guanyu Zhou. Everyone else could not do it as well and also would not be allowed to get an insight into all the current secret tech each team has.
"Do not attempt this in a normal flight operation" Yes thanks airbus, i was just about to do this at home with my brand new ACH160
HAHAHAHHAAH
LMAOO
lol l’m too poor to understand that joke
Ok I'll bring my new Renault R.S.20..so we can try to recreate this video
Me too
F1 graphics be like: Firstname Lastname - lap time deleted - outside track limits
TH-cam will probably start recommending this vid in 5 years or so, lol
Lol I got it three weeks after it was published

I don't remember seeing such an amazing and badass video since a long time! This is jaw-dropping thanks Airbus
You should watch NH-90 vs Porsche , it’s very impressive too ;)

The bogged down version of the Delta Wing race.
Olivier is just an amazing pilot! Excellent concept Airbus! Engineering marvels, both machines 👍🏻
Could we please have an onboard uncut of a lap? (if that does exist) would be really cool to see
I seriously doubt they did a complete chase lap
@@BrettBaker I agree
@@osamabinladen824 hey osama wats poppin
This would be great! The cockpit views are much too short in this video!
Great footage 👍The H160 is definitely an impressive helicopter 😎
This is so cool! It looks like the little F1 car is beeing chased by a giant wasp!
Imagine people seeing this 200 years ago. They'd be like: "what have thy brought upon the people, lord?" And then there'll be peeps in 50 years going "damn peasants not going brrr"
First, TH-cam has to recommend it in 200 years
I’m no helicopter expert but damn that pilot is good

I was on the fence about buying an ACH160, but this video really settles it for me
Really cool - go ahead Airbus! That’s a stunning Helicopter!
Can we talk about the music? I would love to hear some more of that. It sounds almost like a remix of the Daft Punk Tron: Legacy soundtrack.
Well thanks :)
The car looks so strange without the Halo on now
Is it weird that I like it better with the halo???
@@cls63amgwagon34 yes
Strange & Better looking ;)
CLS63AMG WAGON no. I love it
Not to me. I miss this configuration. Till far away back in old era when open wheel racing car are more exposed to the driver.
*Insert James Bond theme*
Joke aside, it's a nice video :D
I wish more companies would do that
Trop classe, et le niveau du pilote 😍😍 les capacités de l hélico sont enormes
Is that actually Danny Ric or just someone who wore his helmet?
I was about to ask this
whoa! the sound design is awesome in this video
The H160 is such a beautiful machine :O
This helicopter pilot is no joke o_o
Amazing video!

I would have attempted this at home but could not find anyone to drive my F1 car.
Two things I love combined... F1 and helicopters
I love F1, I love aerospace, you put it together in one video= you made one boy happy
Such an amazing video. This would have been incredible to witness in person.
Ah look... Airwolf is finally here!
Great Video! Nice Views and Cuts👍👍👍 Chapeau
well, this is way cooler than all those overdone drag races with a fighter jet.
Glad they said don’t try this at home, I was half way out the door with my F1 car and helicopter, could have been disastrous!
Can we get the uncut cockpit footage ?
Daniel Ricciardo driving :D
He is Running for Max verstappen
how heavy is that shaft that connects gas turbine with side rotor?
Fantastique vidéo, cet appareil est juste la perfection.
Why is there a go pro on top of the Tcam?
OMG that was sweet. Awesome airmanship. Awesome cinematography. Awesome idea. Good driving too 😊
Just awesome ! Big up to the Airbus Helicopters teams in Marignane 🚁
Next time let him try and escape an Apache with a couple of hellfire missle and 1200 30mm rounds

Daniel Riccardo current F1 driver for renault F1

The ACH160 helicopter exceeded the track limits, however Mika Häkkinen in a very rare statement said he is the flying Fin of F1 lol
