I'm repacking my boat trailer wheel bearings and installing a Bearing Buddy Seal. My boat trailer axle had a damaged surface where the seal rides. It was worn, so it was was leaking grease and didn't have a good seal. I heard about these Bearing Buddy seals that have a stainless steel ring that floats above the damaged axle to allow a better seal to keep the grease in the hub. need to mention to inspect the cage for slop & cracks as well
*Also using compressed air to blow out grease first will minimize your use of brake clean SINCE THAT STUFF IS SO DAMN EXPENSIVE!
