I like the EZ lube hubs and the container for packing the bearings. You made it look easy and as always I like the attention to detail you always bring. Tight Lines!!!
Yes sir, that is something I neglect to often. I have heard of bearings locking up on the highway, and actually catching on fire due to heat build up. Nice preventive maintenance video my friend. Keep 'em coming.
Watched a bunch of videos today on this subject and yours was the best one. I am a machinist by trade and familiar with cup and cone bearings but needed to know how tight the nut should be on a boat trailer. I like that you used real drivers to install the outer race and the seal.
Very good job on this video, my TH-cam friend. I have been wondering how the grease gets internally distributed, and your little animation shows that. You’re presentation is perfect. All the demonstrated information I needed to convince me to buy this hub.
Thanks I needed a refresher course as I was only familiar with the Sure-Lube system. Refurbishing an old boat trailer so thanks as I will be replacing bearings on it soon. A little different system but so similar in technics.
Thanks for the great video! See you use the quick release adapter. Went to grease my Karavan LB 1250 today and the zerk came right out in the gun nozzle. Apparently these are the press in type zerks. Have an appointment to take to a machine shop who is going to tap the hole and install some threaded zerks. BTW, those dust covers should be outlawed as I sliced my finger open without even knowing. Didn't see where Karavan recommended to top off the grease after each time it was in the water. Seems a little extreme given that's what the trailers were intended for.
Best video so far but didn’t address how much to tighten castle nut to set bearings before you back off to install cotter pin. Over tightened and had to replace seal!
Great video....very clear, very well explained. The only thing you didn't explain is how there is more than one type of grease and that they should NOT use different types together...Im not saying you mixed two types.but you did use two different colors...and after watching this BEGINNERS may think that it's okay...
@@BassBrothersFishingDMV You should put it back or just type a disclaimer in the beginning or at the end.... When I watched this video it is so well made I just knew you were going to say it.... And when it ended I was surprised that you didn't. I even watched twice to see if I had missed it...
@@mrb9502 Does color of grease matter if it's the same type of grease. For example, does color still matter if it's still NLGI #2? I'm curious because I may have made this mistake
Great video on replacing the ez grease bearings. All other videos just show how to pump grease in. thank you! well done and easy to follow.

Ahhh! Was enjoying the video but the background “music” was horrible. 😮
Fantastic! The best video I have seen on bearing replacement.

Heard that also! dont be that guy!
Thank you for conducting a thorough PMCS and explanation!!! Well done!
Definitely something I must do really soon on my trailer. Great as usual 👍🏾

AWESOME video! Very informative. I wish all demo videos were this well done...

Cool. Just be sure to spin your wheel while pumping the grease in so it gets distributed evenly and you should be good to go.
Excellent video. Thanks
Great video. You instruct it so well and easy to follow/understand. Superb job!
It would have been a great video had you not put the music in the background
Great video, yours is the best I've found on the subject, so far. Love the music!
i recommend turning the background music down a bit so we can hear you better

How’s that for a visual? Great video.
Great video but your ticking noise in the background is really annoying!!
Thank you for sharing this video. Very informative and well done !
Great video but PLEASE make the background music quiet. Thanks!

I wish i had the EZ lube hubs it might be good to have!
Thanks
Yea it's pretty slick.
Great video much appreciated.
Brother can u please link the kit i cant find the correct seals
You should remove the music in the background to allow us to hear the sound change as suggested by the instructor in the video.
"Listen to the grinding sound" yeah great, very educational...

I actually took that part out cause the video was getting too long.

@mrb9502 I can't add anything to the video at this point but I can pin a comment about it.
CYA my brother...CYA.

Good video except for the background music.
Thank you
cant watch due to background noise.
Facts. Most don’t check em.
And those are the guys who are normally stuck on the interstate with the disgusted look on their faces
Perfect instructions for what I need to do. But as others said, background music is too loud. Competes with your voice.
Yea that was a mistake. I can't change it now without taking down the video.
Loose the drum machine
