I’m drooling already .nice car.
Drop-dead gorgeous. It's not a "coupe" as labeled. It's a sedan. Being a 2-door doesn't mean it's a coupe. Coupes of course are all 2-doors. But sedans came as either 2, or 4 door versions.
I owned one from 1955 to 1960. It went from NYC to LasCruces NM many times and to Florida 2 times. I had not a lick of problems. I bought tires brakes and regular maintenance which I performed my self.
I'm loving that car now in 2023. My dad had one on Guam back in 1955 when I was 3 yrs. old.
That gentleman is rightfully proud of that car.
That's a very nice looking 1950 I love the color very awesome
Thanks 👍
Very nice restoration of this car. Looks pretty comfortable inside and with Air Conditioning no less!
I’m delighted to say that I owned one of these…and could NOT keep first gear in it…I was 17. :) in 1960.
Long aplausse from Argentina!✨
This is what Robert Mitchum drove in "Thunder Road". Same color too. He had all the hot rod goodies like the 3 Stromberg 97s, and the finned aluminum heads, all of the usual stuff for those days. Then the mobsters blew it up, and he had a `57 for the second half of the movie. Classic
moonshiner hillbilly deluxe!! Anybody who hasn't seen it should see it.
They only had black and white tv in those days, you must have remembered the movie poster back in the day or a remake in colour. Or you were on scene when the movie was made. Curious to know which it was I will say the colour remake. lol
Absolute beautiful restoration!!! Perfect
I bought it then crashed it. :(
My favorite color
...sweet, and " very dry inside" example of the " Shoe Box Fords launched the previous year...
...you are always very patient, Michael, with your legion of owners " of a certain age"...often experiencing hearing impairment...and your deft handling prevents awkward pauses in the production process...
...never quite identified in the video, this was the second-year offering of the Ford Custom Custom DeLuxe...a marwue which would morph into the Customline in '52 when it became the mid-range mrque between the entry-level Mainline and the new Crestline for the remaining 2 years prior to the badging switch to Fairlane ( named for the Dearborn estate of Edsel Ford )...
...the condition of this particular car is exceptional...
Thanks Clark, I really Appreciate that; I always take my Time to get the whole story, this Video Ran a little over 13 Minutes :-)
Thank You,

I having a problem put on a new starter now clutch is stuck? How to fix???
You must feel like James Dean or Charles Starkweather in that! Nice.
Dean was killed by one of these when it did a "Louie" in front of his Porsche....
Now that is the American dream WoW, I would love to own something that. Awesome ride love all the upgrades and the undercarriage is spectaculaire. Thanks for letting us have a look and a ride cheers.
Thanks Robert!
i like the subtle improvements
outstanding and beautiful Car I mean Gorgeous My Dad Had a 1950 Ford woody wagon and the Engine Seized Up when i was a Kid I Played in it also got my Fingers Smashed in the Car door
Thanks, probably would have been a better memory if you didn't get your fingers smashed, Ouch!
"it doesn't play discs".
Bless him.
I LIKE IT I WISHD ID HAD 3 OF THESE
Wow!
Thanks 🙂
IF THE OWNER OF THE CAR COULD SPEAK LOUD ENOUGH FOR PEOPLE TO HEAR HIM, IT WOULD HELP
Thank you for posting such a beautifully restored shoebox. May I ask what oil filter housing and bracket that is?
Thanks, I appreciate that... Honestly I'm not sure, that was over 2 Years ago
My dad Herb bought one of these brand new, a black one, and I was born in 1954, and this was our family car up until I think 1963. It was originally a V8 automatic, but when the trans went out, Herb converted it to a stick shift, what pissed off my mom Betty because she wanted to keep the automatic. It used to vapor lock, and Herb had a spare gas cap with a soldered-in tire valve, for to pressurize the gas tank with a tire pump. One time Betty had to do this, and she was like Lucy Ball
Wow, What a Cool Storie!
I always got a charge out of kids that refer to their mom and dad by their given names like Mr. Jimmy.
Almost perfect. That radio has to go. You can take an original and have the guts upgraded with am and fm and Bluetooth. I have it on my fifty.
Start me up I'll never stop
Nice !
Nice
Jeez grandpa slow down. Lol
I HAD A 50 FORD WHEN I WAS A KID , EVERY TIME I FILLED UP WITH GAS I HAD TO FILL IT UP WITH OIL ALSO
Thìs is the kind of car my buddy came and picked us up. It was his uncles and hot wired it with gum wrapper 3o seconds it took. We j.ocked church. Sorry father. We went for a ride.
Light them tires up .
All Id do to this is change out those aftermarket gauges..
