The Ford Shoebox was one tough car. Built to run and last a mighty long time. You could easily get 17 years of service from Shoe Guy with enough TLC. Trop Artic motor oil and Motorcraft plugs and parts did a bangup job. Ford did it!
I just bought one as my first car, going to Ohio to get it this weekend. I'm excited as hell. It's black with red wheels, except it's a 4 door deluxe, I'll post a video later
My first car was also a 49 Ford club coupe, stock Flathead 3 on the tree and it ran like a Swiss watch. It was my high school car and all the kids in town knew that car
Man. That’s what I thought. I’m trying to decide what to do with mine. Everyone says Porters or Smithys but I really like the way Cherry Bombs sound. Can I ask what length and Diameter??
@@itunesify I sold the car some time ago, so couldn't say for sure, but there are undercarriage photos at this link: bringatrailer.com/listing/1950-ford-business-coupe/
I use a GoPro Fusion to film it, it shoots in 360 degrees. The panning itself is done in post production. The camera creates HUGE files, and it took a little bit of learning in Adobe Premiere, but it's a useful effect. Thanks for watching.
Nothing sounds cooler than a flat head Ford
Good to see an original stock '50 beautiful!..

My first car was a 50 Ford Shoebox with the sweetest foathead. It had been a one-owner from a man who worked with my dad. I loved that car!

Nice presentation. How do you set up your 360 view? It's the 2nd time I've seen you use this view. Very nice.
