As an IT admin I prefer the Google Workspace environment. Very easy to manage users and the many different applications on offer, the marketplace is a plus too. Cloud based is easier to manage than local.
That's cool to hear! Historically you would think 365 would have a better footing in IT, but can definitely see much of the flexibility and value of Workspace. If you don't mind disclosing, how large of an organization are you with?
Small business here, I started with google workspace without thinking too much about it and now I realize that 365 is much better for me. So I’m migrating right now.
Thank you for this video, I am so glad that I found this because I want to help small TH-camrs. I also want you to know that I used this video in my College Assignment and gave you credit.
That's awesome, thank you for letting us know. I'm glad you found the video helpful! Was there anything else in the video you wish we had mentioned but didn't?
For me the best one is Internxt Teams, private and efficient. But even though I don't like the alternatives since they are not secure or private at all, I gotta say your video is amazing, and I really enjoy your explanation. It would be great if you made a video about decentralized clouds. I'm sure I would love it!
I'd use Google Workspace if I ran a biz. It's just so much easier to use than Office. I use Office and the Google suite but for ease of use you can't beat the latter.
No mention of Libre Office. I have been a MS Office user since the 1990s [which is when the kernel of Office was written] but many people I tutor use Libre Office then than pick and choose their cloud storage depending on the best offers available. The more I investigate Libre Office the more I feel that my MS Office 'loyalty' has been misplaced because it has simply not evolved in its core features but has instead messed about with icons, lost any sense of fun and encouragement and, you will recall, pulled a dirty trick with 2013 in changing the 'Save As' default bullying users to use OneDrive (still called SkyDrive then). Features in MS Office come then are "deprecated" without explanation, many language scripts are still not coherently supported and templates once included to keep as late as 2007 have to be downloaded to view. MS Office has been the milch cow of the company for decades and still charges premium prices for far from premium product. On the other hand Libre Office is open source and mostly free. It is not associated with a particular browser and does not advertise cloud storage packages. Used alongside Google Images and Slides it is what MS used to be but 100 times better. I do not find word processing and spreadsheets in Google to be consistent enough to recommend at this stage when Libre Office is straightforwardly excellent in ALL core features. Google needs to make up its mind what it is doing without so much changing and tweaking to get core features right.
Well said! We actually have a MS office vs Apache OpenOffice coming up in a couple of weeks, but I do give honorable mention to LibreOffice! I’ve actually used both of the open source options in the past and it really depends for me what I’m primarily trying to do and what file compatibility I need. It’s definitely saved me before tho.
It is beyond me why TH-cam content creators think it necessary or cool playing music over their voice. We came to hear and understand you not fight background music which quickly becomes annoying background noise. Many folks have hearing difficulties, thus background music takes away their enjoyment of listening to what you are explaining.
Hi Ric, sorry about that - TH-cam norms aren't always helpful with content, but your comment can help with how we approach videos in the future! We will now be featuring subtitling on all videos and any background music will be dropped 5-10 db (depending on the relative loudness of the speaker). For many, adding music can help reduce background noise, give room for editing unwanted frequencies, or provide pacing so the speaker doesn't drag on for too long. Hope that helps and thanks again for your feedback!
@@TrustRadius You're apologizing and lowering the volume of your background music based off one complaint? Let it just be beyond him like he said. Keep up the great work.
@@rcng086 Agreed. The problem is either this guy's listening environment or setup. From a production standpoint, I think it was good enough and done well. If anything, the solution for clarity would be isolating his voice so the viewer isn't hearing the reverb from it bouncing around the room. And this has to happen when the voice is recorded. Even recording the voice in a closet full of clothes would accomplish that though.
Business Starter- 30 GB storage per user Business Standard- 2 TB pooled storage per user Kindly let me know the limitations of the Google drive storage in 1st Plan. Does that mean the cloud is not shared with all team members? Is that only possible with Standard Plan? Could you please help me with this storage concepts in the two plans.

It really does depend case to case, I’ve used both extensively and it really comes down to what type of collaboration is needed for which I prefer
The same conclusion here, especially since pricing for MS 365 is much more attractive in my region.
Wow, you're such a little TH-camr and TH-cam recommended this to me. That is rare!
Oh really? That's interesting! Thanks for letting us know. I hope the content was helpful?

I think teams and all the additional features hit Microsoft out of the park

Sure, Ayesh!
This page on Google's Workspace site outlines the differences in those plans: workspace.google.com/pricing.html
you guys pay for workspace?
we all agree that Microsoft is better .
very perfect
I use Microsoft for everything I don't even use Google except for TH-cam
Google work space is better than Microsoft 365 applications.
Why?
