Yeah when talking about gaps everyone only talks about gap 'year' not gap 'years'.
I started studying after a gap to get better career opportunities but no one accepts my application because of the gap. Even college placements doesn't allow me to apply for jobs.
And for MBA interviews there's a much higher chance to get rejected for a candidate with gap years.
Something I can never change.

Excellent explanation...even the question is silly ,but most of them have this kind of doubt whether the gap year impact on their selection process..as on your video gap is doesn't matters only think is we have genuine reason behind the gap years.. Be honest even some may prepare for govt exams like (UPSC, Ssc )but couldn't able to clear so they decided to do mba..also..

Get a wide and overall view of your life and then think that getting a pause in education will definitely not affect my living..

Helo mam. I had completed my Graduation this year. I appeared for cat 2020 if the result got against me. I would wait for one more year because my aim is clear to be a student of one the top b college. I want to ask you that although I used to taach students upto class 12 but at my home. Not in skl.and apart from this we have a bsns shop where I love to sit and interect with lot of people. So in this gap year would I have to join skl for work ex? Or just provide tution at the home level and operate our family bsns.
Or work at some other firm or do internship
I am in my 3rd year of engineering and after completing my BTech i want to take 1-2 gap years. But Btech is a heavy course so in those 1-2 years I want to do something lightweight like working in a NGO as social work and not some engineering or management field as i want to relax after a heavy work load. so will it be ok??

One of the professors at IIM A happen to live in the same building as me. I spoke to him about this issue, and he told me if you've an engineering background, the recruiters don't care about it if you've justified it, because they know how the higher secondary science stream functions. Doing +2 then a gap year isn't a big impediment.
That's right, glad you shared it with the community here, it might help a lot of viewers, so I'm gonna pin it. And it also holds true for other educational streams. Interviewers are also people, they only want to understand you better.
If someone has 3+ years gaps then is it create any problem in interview?

Academics - 82/79/7.03
Graduation - Bachelor of Architecture 2020 passout
No workex
As of now have converted IFMR Chennai.
Rest all options are waitlisted mostly tier 2 colleges nm off campus kj welinkar etc.
My interest lies in finance domain only and am also preparing for CFA july attempt.
So my question is should i take up IFMR this year or attempt cat next year considering the fact that it will be 2 years of gap by then and just 1 level of CFA If i clear it in july.
