I have 2 years of gap after my graduation + 14 months work ex after that and that's what I filled in CAT application. However, now I am able to arrange a work ex from my uncle's industry to cover up the gap.
Now I am in dilemma whether I shall add this additional work ex in college's forms like Nirma, MDI murshidabad, Bits Pilani, BHU, welingkar based on 82%ile CAT.
Please suggest

Sir can u tell me 1 year drop and 1 year gap is it same or different? Actually my diploma period was from 2013 to 2017 and engineering was from 2017 to 2020. I had a 1 year drop in 2nd year of diploma. And now in job application they are asking will you have any gap? So what should I mention there I have a gap or not because I have a 1 year drop not 1 year gap. Please reply sir

Sir I got a call from some college agent, she said that from this year no company will pay more than 4Lakh if there is 1 year gap. Is it true?
No.. It's all bullshit. If you land in some good college and perform well there you will get a good job. But yes it you land in some tier 2 tier 3 college then that gap year might haunt you.
One of my friend who did his engineering in 9 years ,he got IIM Kozhikode, right now he is in Citi Bank with good package and most important was he got 99.56% in CAT. (It's a big motivation for all of us).
