- Stacey rolls in that old International Cabover Truck, and starts a project called Heavy Metal. The project not only showcases people that work with their hands for a living, but also represents the Navy’s Blue Angels precision flying team. The first order up for business is to get some serious power into the truck and that involves Stacey stuffing a hot rodded Duramax Diesel engine and Allison transmission into the old beast. If you have ever wondered what it takes to retro-fit a big diesel engine into a project, and if there are parts available to make it happen… this show will not only answer those questions, but also encourage you to do it!

This is like comfort food for my soul. Im 15 watching the powerblock again
O yeah that's all I watched on Sunday morning that's what I lived for to watch in my teens and into my 20s and still till this day 👍
This was (and certainly still is) one of my favorite episodes from Gearz!!! Damn, I miss this show!!!
We're putting new episodes on TH-cam now!
Great idea putting a diesel engine in the International, but I'm partial to Cummins
Great vid Great project!! 👍👍
That's an awesome upgraded duramax I'm contacting PPE to upgrade my 2015 Silverado crewcab I could use the extra hp & tourq thank's Stacy 😎👍
As a certified CAT, CUMMINGS mechanic retired I would be using a 5.9 or 8.3 CUMMINGS or a 3208 CAT and definitely not a Allison Duramax!!!
That Waywo project is cool 😎, but what do you put on the title
I’m not sure if you’re sticking to your original plan to tie it into the blue angels because later you turn it into a tow truck instead of something that represents the blue angels
Where is the finished truck?
Wonder if Stacey still has the Little Red Wagon, or if he sold it
Still have it!
@@OfficialStaceyDavid why not use a PowerStroke diesel or IH 466 diesel ?
