Well I'm building a old L82 block and already got period correct set of heads and also a factory gm aluminum intake...Was a random block at a local machine shop so decided to try to get all period correct heads and intake took a few weeks .now I'm down to building a old q jet if what I got on the shelf needs to be rebuilt
Looks great 👍 .. had mine Qjet rebuilt from a old time carb guy ( 83yrs ) young . He did a outstanding job , and told me he used only American made kits and part . Do not use overseas parts they don’t last

I'm familiar with the carb company I bought a eldelbrock from them .good company.but probably rebuilding the q jet at home

The fuel evaporates out of the bowl in a day or two, leaving it bone dry.
I would love to work at a replateing carb place like that.
