I did a video on the original DUO 3: Must-See: Reolink's New Duo 3 POE Camera Review! th-cam.com/video/wGW6pPSAK60/w-d-xo.html I’m working on a video for the new DUO 3 WIFI Model (as we speak).
Great video. Would love to see a comparison of the Reolink Altas PT Ultra and the Dufy SoloCam S340. Just couldn't find out which one supports RSTP and which codecs they use. Want to integrate them into Apple HomeKit via Scrypted.
Thanks George , informative videos . I am researching the best option for my yard coverage , I like the eufy s330 pro , But for my application I really need a camera which is able to read a licence plate at a 50 ft. distance without manually zooming in . Appreciate a recommendation .
Glad you’re enjoying them. Thanks for watching! Now that Google has taken that feature away from the Nest Cameras, Reolink is the only brand I can think of that does TimeLapse nowadays…at least the only reputable brand I can think of.
Thanks George, great comparison. Extremely helpful when deciding which camera is best suited for a particular situation. I’m in the market for a doorbell camera but cant decide between Eufy C31, Eufy E340 or Tapo D225 (D235 in the UK). All can be battery or hardwired so would be great to have a comparison and see if there is one you would recommend. Thanks
Great Vid! - Suggestion: Altas vs Eufy S3 Pro, I understand S3 Pro can also now do continuous recording, but not seen anyone has covered it yet and whether it works well or not. Also, could a 5V USB charger and lead be used with the Altas instead of the Solar Panel? Thanks!
Do you have any recommendations on a outdoor camera that continously records but works with weak wifi? I currently have a nest camera and it's always cutting out.
I travel and live full time in a 40' 5th wheel. I would want one camera inside to turn on when I left and two or three others on the outside. Clairity would be the number one feature. 12V connection thru a running light? Any recommendations
Thank you for the videos! I am hoping you might be able to help me in choosing a Wifi system. Its for my parents and they would prefer a Wifi system as it appears easier to them, as far as installation goes, and need to able to monitor while away from their home using their phone via and app. From what I have learned so far, I like the NVR idea, where the storage basically takes care of itself. They live in a small dwelling so distance from the router to the camera should not be an issue. Their internet speed is not the best though. Also, I see Reolink as some Wifi systems with NVR, I like the looks and price of this Reolink reolink rlk12-800wv4. But, so many options, and as you know its all so overwhelming. Your thoughts and suggestions would be most helpful and my folks and I would greatly appreciate the help. Thank you.
Looking for an indoor one. It has been a headache and I’ve watched a lot of your videos. Fisheye and e1 seem like decent options but still not sure for the best indoor one. Any kind of comment helps! Hoping to snag one for Black Friday and get a discount using your code. Thank you
Thanks for the video. A CON of the Altas PT Ultra, I have found, is that it will not consistently connect to the REOLINK CLIENT. Once you get the camera to connect to the Client, if you leave the Client running, the camera will connect consistently. However, if you close the client and reopen, the camera will not consistently connect to the Client without opening and closing the Client several times. Reolink Support, after several weeks offered to replace the camera with another Altas, which arrived today. Same issue with new camera. I do have another Reolink E1 Outdoor Pro Wi-Fi wired camera that is located further away from my router, with a weaker signal, which connects every time! Is my problem because the Altas is a battery camera or is it a firmware issue? Not my Wi-Fi! Thus I came here to see the Altas and the wired Track Mix compared. I think I will ask for a return on the Altas and replace with either another E1 or the wired Track Mix.

Great comparison! I’ve got all these and the battery version of trackmix in our backyard currently. The wired trackmix is my favorite
Thanks! I give it the slight edge for me as well. The Altas PT Ultra would have dethroned it, if it wasn’t for the dreadful design.
RLC-811A PoE George??
What about it?
@ review + the 16mp duo 3?

I appreciate that!
Thanks for your Expert Comparisons 👍👍
You’re very welcome. Thanks for watching!
Love the time lapse and solar panels.
Both are awesome indeed.

Thank you. Noted!
Hi there, I'm looking for a reolink camera Wireless that has a 20m night vision... your the man I've been told
Unfortunately, That’s going to tough if you need wireless. That kind of distance is usually reserved for wired.
@@GeorgeLangabeer ok, I appreciate that. Are there Wi-Fi cameras out there that will do the distance. Storage will need to be on a memory card
Not reliably. That’s one of the many disadvantages to going wireless.
Always the best reviews. Thank you! So you recomend the Reolink over the Nest batteries 2?
Thank you! Yes, I do. 💯
Reolink over nest any day of the week!
Thanks, Goerge. Just bout 2 cameras using your affiliate link and coupon!👍👍👍👍👍👍
Awesome! I'm glad to hear that.

To that you’re not going to want a WiFi camera, you’re going to want a good wired NVR system with upgraded cameras.
Hi, thanks for your videos! Is Reolink cameras the only ones with timelapse?
Glad you’re enjoying them. Thanks for watching!

For me it would be a toss up between the E340 & the D225. You can’t go wrong with either.
Ty for this video!! Do any of these Reo cameras support 5GHZ?

A wired NVR system would be your best bet.

Good review. Being a newbie to all this, how does one off-load an event, say for archiving to a computer?
You can download your clips on the smartphone (or tablet) app.
@@GeorgeLangabeer And then send the clip to a computer?
@bobbiemitch You can download it to the camera roll on your smart phone & then do whatever you want with it.

Very Cool security camera George Langabeer.
Which one? Lol.
2:45 You also have to hope that the bad guys don't know about the (trivial to do) WiFi de-authentication attack.
An extremely rare occurrence, but if you’re worried about, a wired NVR system would be the way to go.

I used the Argus Track for my indoor option.
Hi George, If I order these, who in northern Virginia could install them?
These Reolink WiFi cameras? They are designed to be DIY installs.
Thanks for the video.

Hard to say what the issue is. I’ve had ZERO connection issues with my Altas.
@@GeorgeLangabeer Are you using the Reolink Client or App?
Both
Which one do you recommend?
Did you watch the video? lol
I don't know Which want to choose I'm trying to figure It Out
2:33 haha kinda looks like WALL-E.
lol. You’re right.
