I am confused. Transitional housing is temporary housing for certain segments of the homeless population, including working homeless people who are earning too little money to afford long-term housing. Hardly thought 1.6 million could be considered transitional....unless you're a homeless millionaire.
Hey John, thank you for watching. When it comes to houses for sale and their styles/designs...here is the definition of transitional: "Transitional style is a marriage of traditional and contemporary furniture, finishes, materials, and fabrics equating to a classic, timeless design. Furniture lines are simple yet sophisticated, featuring either straight lines or rounded profiles."
Good question, John! I've also puzzled for so long about what “transitional” means, since English is not my native language 😊 Thank you Sierra for the clarification! 👍
This in no way feels like a million-dollar home. In fact for some other homes I've seen in Texas this is actually quite small in comparison to how much money you're putting into it.
It's inside the 610 loop and North of 59 the Southwest Freeway, a few miles from Downtown Houston and near the Texas Medical Center that's part of the reason why it costs that much.
Yes, it's very intimate and practical home. And the price is very reasonable, for NYC residents it's very good opportunity to move to Houston and buy this kind of homes. Thx for your excellent video and gorgeous presentation.

Its a beautiful home but not a smart buy. Looks like it the most expensive home on the street. Kind of older low income apartments down the street and the house next door is about the size of the living room. 1.6M will get your a pretty nice ranch out of town on some acres away from the criminals. For Houston, Texas, this is way overpriced. Texas has an abundance of land and to have such a small lot is very uncommon. You can get a mansion for $500,000 in Houston.

These kind of houses are dreamy. If I was a billionaire I'd buy one for a family member. But as beautiful as they are, I couldn't live in them. As a single man with no kids who prefers to live alone I'd get depressed living in such a large house. Most rooms would be unused which would make me feel like money went to waste. A small, affordable 1 story house (brand new) that's cozy, clean, and safe is what I would call my dream house. I basically need a modernized Hobbit house!

Hey Sierra, just found your channel. Love the presentation style of your videos. The house is lovely and very reasonable. Something like that here in the UK probably would cost at least double the price!
Thank you for the feedback-you are too kind! I am back making videos and we have more videos out now you might enjoy

I think out of all your videos to date that walk-in closet was my favourite.
And was that lamp made out of cotton candy? :)
Haha 😂 feathers 🪶. I also like the walk in closet.
6 min...Sierra, you forgot to mention that magnificent Gazelle on the wall.....it must have been going at quite a speed to get its head through the wall....?
@@user-ic1kw3jl9d google translate : Rich boy, sat on the chimney, and grief did not know he, walked on the water, on the shore will look, the bride will find, on the shore will sit down, luck will find ....???
You're right, how did I not address that?? Thank you for the comment! We have more videos out now that you might enjoy.
Very nice...

For a second I thought she looked like a blonde Meghan Fox! Gorgeous....and the house too!
Thank you Kendra. Really appreciate you watching.
Agreed! It's never bad to be modest when necessary, and you can always spend the money on travel! Thank you for the comment- We have more videos out now you might enjoy
