I think the Enkidu is such an amazing idea. There was a write up on Blader Union with Oli Benet, the guy who designed it, and it's well worth a read to those who haven't yet. "The original idea was a type of Reverse Powerblading, rather than pure hardcore aggressive. I saw how we had influenced hundreds of aggressive skaters to try big wheels, which led to massive popularity and the rise of freeskating. This Enkidu skate was born of the idea of getting freeskaters to try aggressive, to try and get the sport healthy again by further blurring the line between styles. (...) Start with freeskates, learn how to skate well, add a soulplate and learn to grind, and all of this with only one skate purchase." The last part is so good and important I think. Start by learning how to actually skate and then learn to grind. I feel like this is overlooked a lot by aggressive types who can do all the grinds, switch ups etc but can't really skate.

You definitely get more toe space if you gut the Sebas, but make sure that you also get the toecapgluething off. If that's not enough, you can get the leather off the Carbon by heatgunning and then glue the leather toecap back 1cm higher up. Sb told me and I did it myself, which helped a lot.
I have used Dr Shoesert Big Shoe Filler for oversizing / room at the end of the toe in FR1s (43 - one size bigger than my foot) to address the extra space created when using Intuition Premium Liners - (cut to desired thickness, 3M double sided taped into toe of boot) - Before that i used foam insert cubes from an old case from harbor freight, but I could feel the spaces and odd shaping from condensing that under pressure around the toes and Ive also used Adrenaline Powerfoot Performance Inserts to fill extra space ABOVE the toes in my Seba CJ2 Integrated liner (42). ( Note that the Powerfoot above toe method does not work in skates like the FR1 as the area above the toe is open ) Both of these work great and definitely enhanced overall control, especially with things like toe rolls, which were nearly impossible beforehand. I found myself over tightening before to compensate in both cases, now they are both easier to boot up, way more comfortable and so much more responsive
I'm sure you'll have your own Portuguese crew in no time plus you've got way easier access to Europe and some amazing parks. I find sebas fit really tight which I like. The liners are really good although I did have to take a Stanley knife out and cut the stitching for my big toe. The shock absorber is also awesome and gives you that forward lean. I use the fr liner in a pair of ssms and it works great for me. I think seba liners are an untapped secret for aggressive skaters. I've heard the cjs are really rigid and the cuffs fit high did you find that?
Thanks for this! I have been supporting Flying Eagle (on my 3rd pair) and I think I might be getting the Enkidus based on this and other videos I'm seeing of them.
I don't know if it's a brand new seba boot, but I know that the liners gets wider and wider in time. I personnally never had this issue but I heard several people complaining about foot pain before it gets as comfy as a slipper.
yeah i know..this wasnt a complaint at all. i usually get my skates tight and break into them.. rather that then having my skate comfy at first and then too big
I would not say its better. but they were definitely comfier, but I'm sure that's due to the size too..gutted the sebas now...so that's the next video ;)
Looked like you were having a lot of fun with the enkidus. You pretty have the EXACT same opinions on them that i do. So freaking weird to go from aeons to them but i literally adjusted within 5 mins on them. Awesome vid man
Hola Ricardo! Te invito a mí canal si quieres ver sobre todo lo que es rollers, desde principiantes a profesionales! Mantención y demás! Espero que te guste!!!🤗🤗🤗
I like your reviews but it would be wonderfull if you could show both skates next to each other so that the viewer can see the differences of the soul plates etc. It´s getting very hard to find skateshops next to our living area which makes it almost impossible to directly compare skates locally in a shop. The most of the people order their skates online and the more you can compare, the easyer it is to make a final decision.
Thanks for the video...I am in California and Everything in my size ( US 11) is out of stock..except the Flying Eagle Enkidu... so trying to decide if I should order them, or wait for something else? I am leaning towards the USD Aeon 60, but not available until October...So considering the Flying Eagle Enkidu. I use to ride 20 years ago, so at 37 trying to get back in to Aggressive Skating...thoughts?
Lino. I love your videos. It's very hard to get some size 10+ agressive. I just bought the Enkidu size 43 EU and I hope it's gonna be ok to skate park and free skate!
If you mean street skating. B free as been killing with them. Also as a urban skate you can just pop other ssm frame and\ they are regular urban skates. Awesome concept.
I have flaying eagle enkidu the middle buckle broke and the Velcro strap broke and i can't find parts online to replace them Help I can’t skate any more
Enkidu is weird, ugly, look like a tank but i loved it 😂, look a good skate to try, FE deserves a chance on aggro industry. Micro could do the same in the Future🤔

Dude, you got it right on the nose. I see great things coming from them in the future

I want to see Rollerblade doing the same with the Twister Edge! I love these skates so much and I'm sure they'd work great as agressive skates!
@@eleanor8970 you might just be able to put the FE souls on them. They should work with any freeskate with a 175(?) mount
@@guamtek That would be interesting indeed!

Thanks for another good video :-) I love that you test skates from all the companies and tell us your honest opinion.

That coping in that mini ramp seemed so sticky 🤣
it was a bit. but with such a short mini I don't like waxing it..otherwise, i always slide out the ramp r against the walls and can't really carve..
Loving the Odd socks Ricardo!
hehehehe...you know when you loose the pair.... why throwing them away? ;)
Thanks for this! I have been supporting Flying Eagle (on my 3rd pair) and I think I might be getting the Enkidus based on this and other videos I'm seeing of them.

you gonna do a full enkidu review video?
Lino! I was worried your content was going to suffer from bias towards your sponsors. You put that idea to rest! Good on staying honest!
Just bought a pair of Enkidu. Was rolling on Pianowskis but the boot was too big. Thanks for this
haha good stuff mate. kinda love that the unknown seems to be better then the industry top end

@@RicardoLino video of the gutting process too if you took it please!
Thanks for the great reviews on those two skates. I will buy the flying eagle slates.

you reckon Enkidu skates are good for city skating?

@@RicardoLino Yeah i meant street skating , theyre on sale right now so i'll be buying them.

The cj looks like K2s 😳😳😲😲
Enkidus are quite possibly the least aesthetically pleasing skates I’ve ever seen.
You’re talking about boots here. What’s fast got to do with that?
