You’re such an inspiration!!! I got back into blading just over a year ago, and you’ve been always so inspirational for me. Good to see how good you do all your tricks!
Hey Lawrence. I've watched your vids and more importantly, your progression from almost day dot. As yourself, and 2QS, managed to get me back into skating. The locking in of tricks, the getting low, jumping out of grinds and just general progression has improved immensely! For that you ought to be proud. I'm 42 and skated mid/late 90's as well. I got back into it 2 years ago but had back surgery, which incidentally has prevented me from skating for the time being. I am looking so forward to skating again and the revival for us OG'S is huge i have noticed...all over you tube and the world for that matter. It's fantastic! Keep rolling champ and may be worthwhile looking at your first few videos again if you haven't for a while...food for thought.
Just bought some 50/50 frames and can’t want to use them was thinking of picking up some new boots to set up a new skate. Thanks for your products Lawrence. And the free stickers😘
Nice top side tricks on the ledge, I never really could hit top acids on concrete ledges. Those are probably my favorite aggressive skates on the market, only thing is no removeable liner, but it looks like a good liner so. Farfig, 7:05 and 7:15 .. real nice
Back to Blading Thanks! I just picked them up from the post box and tried them on and they fit! I also have some GC FLT3’s as well as a Trimax 3x100 setup on the way, can’t wait!
I just bought some of these second hand last year and I just started skating again in general myself. I love them so far but I love hearing other opinions.
I would love a new helmet. I just want to start into blading and a helmet would really be helpful. Thanks to the sponsor for this giveaway, whether I win or not :).
Man I would love to do a session with you at the skatepark. That's what I would need...I think. I got into skating when it was really popular in the mid 90's and skated till around 2000. I got pretty good at skating street style but no aggressive skating at all. Just the odd stair jump or doing stairs. I was around 35 at the time. Now fast forward...I'm now living in Taiwan and got back into skating a year or more ago and have acquired a few modern skates. The skating came back to me in no time and am loving it just...if not more than in the 90's. I attribute skating again from all the popularity on youtube. Love to see people getting back into it or just getting into it for the first time. Never thought much about aggressive until Bill Stoppard started talking about the Aeon 80 skates and talked about how they are a great skate for street skating and park. That got me interested. So I bought a pair and decided to get into it. Now I'm watching every video on grinding and slides. I've been bitten by the sliding bug and want to get to it. My problem is I really have a mental block with getting my feet off the ground and onto something so foreign. I've been to the park once and feel like my feet are glued to the ground and can't mentally get them off the ground and onto a rail. I think if I had another skater like you that could encourage me and get me off the ground. Any tips for first starting out and getting the skates to do something they've never done before? Take care, and keep at it.
It’s tough taking that first jump. I actually have a series on the beginning grinds you might appreciate. Even if it’s nothing new, maybe it could reinforce what you already know. th-cam.com/play/PLQGRbw6onI2Y20S3dHug4m-w8JB-bS0-b.html
Judo classes with help you immensely. Keeping your eye on your soul foot while top aciding? Good going with the helmet initiative I like the ten tries. That’s what I do, willing to fall helps me big time
Props for the topside tricks. That's one thing I've not even attempted yet. Getting comfortable with all the soul stuff now and starting on my h-block tricks - back to front apparently, but I found soul stuff easier. 🤷♂️ And then I guess I'll be getting to trying top sides in the near future. It just seems like such an unnatural angle to get your foot in...
@Back to Blading whats the difference between de flat profile or the rounded coping ? for me its look on a round better because on the flat you have more like a corner that are sharper to slide ? and difficute to position the foot at the right angel ? ok never done yet for the moment a'm learling on the miniramp to find my things to do and some bowls
i have problems with soulplates they dont fit the boot in size boot 43/43 plate. would an 44 plate fit a 43 boot? couse if not thats fcking frustrating... and who knows how can i change the female mounting screw on boots? is intergrated if some1 would know i would appreciate that
@@BacktoBlading so cool man I'm from the UK and I remember everyone in are crew getting 50/50 back in the day. Have you ever thought about making a skate or liners?
You Progress, You Progress, and You look-like Good with this CJ Wellsmore and 50/50 Frames. Are this Setup Good for Someone who Ride Back de in the Days/ Beginner..? Thx Lawrence, and Enjoy Agressiv Blading and don't Give Up..! 😉💪✌️
Hey guys, please help me out....Can anybody please explain to me, how I can prevent myself from falling on my beautiful face, when landing fakie? It happened to me when i was about 12years old, coming down the bank backwards and I think it got me off from aggressive skating back then. Smashing your face on concrete really sucks. I made my way Back to Blading some weeks ago. On Saturday I did a fakie 360 on flat with nearly no speed. The outcome was my face on concrete just like 20 years ago but fortunetely less harmful. However, my poor 9year old daughter I raised in the meantime, had to see her father with blood all over his face. I know I have to get an arm in front of me but the shift is so fast when this happens that Im not able to manage it.
I could use a helmet if there are more available. I've joined the crowd of "haven't bladed in 10 years, tryin' to get back into it" and am excited to pick up gear that I can afford. Thanks for the helpful vids too. They have helped me pick out skates.

Awesome! Welcome back.
Your mannerisms are amazing! “That true MiZ I am not sure what took me that long”. I felt like I was watching a movie.
I have the SX2 with Intuitions and just getting used to them for aggressive. I've popped on some Symmetrics souls from the Adapts and it works great.
what is you seba sx size ? and what Symmetrics souls size fit with it ? for reference

I’ve heard once the inner liner padding gets worn out they feel gross to skate, but you can always gut them and put an Intuition in there.
I’m waiting for my Seba SX2’s with soulplates to come in right now, so this video was perfect timing, thanks!
You’re gonna love them!

I struggle with top sides on curves also. I miss a lot.
I appreciate the comfort. :)
Yeahh, topsides on curvies always need a lil extra lean out!
You look comfortable in those!
Nice one mate. Keep up the great content

One trick at a time and do it a hundred times. There’s a reason my soul tricks are most controller. That’s all we did growing up.
Really enjoy watching your persistence. Would you say the CJs are more comfortable than your 909 setup?
Yes, but the Intuition wasn’t the right liner for me. With the Reign v3 the 909 were more comfortable
Nice looking back farv
Can you do a video on metal frames?
There’s a lot out there. Which ones?

Flat are more difficult to lock on. If the ledge has coping, you don’t have to get fully topside to lock.
great video. I need a helmet, fell last week and comprised the safety of mine. thanks. all the best.
That KG was sick!
back farv looking mean🔥🔥🔥
hi there. question please. is Seba CJ boot compatible with adapt soulplate ?
I don’t think so
@@BacktoBlading thanks for the info
I need a helmet! Great content as always. Keep up the great work!
What happened to the usd carbons 🙂
Gear Talk is this Wednesday at 9pm EST

Usually a bigger soul plate will fit a smaller boot. A 44 will fit a 43.
@@BacktoBlading usually? i dont think there is something on this boot what is usually...
That farf at 7:08 was on the nose!!!
Thank you!
How come you still haven't skated the usd carbon ?
Gear Talk this Wednesday at 9pm EST
What are your thoughts on the Seba CJ2 in comparison to the USD Carbons? Pros and Cons? Thanks.
I prefer the USD carbon. They are much more comfortable
@@BacktoBlading Thanks!
Hi, do you own 50/50 ? Remember getting red frames on my USD Jon Julio's
Yep! Me and JessD
@@BacktoBlading so cool man I'm from the UK and I remember everyone in are crew getting 50/50 back in the day. Have you ever thought about making a skate or liners?
I need a helmet. Getting back into it after 20 years! Balance is not quite there yet so need to protect the bonce!
You ride Deshi ch2???
I don’t have any Deshi
How is the sizing of these skates? im 11 us and thinking what size to choose. I hate to have too "roomy skates"))
They’re big. I’m 28.5cm and these are the 43. I should be in the 44
What size CJs are those? :)
They’re 43s believe it or not. I think the 44 would be too big
Hello, I would be very happy about a new helmet! I always love your videos, please keep it up!

I think they’re a fine setup, but maybe expensive? Also the soul and royale groove were more minimal making tricks harder than some other skates.
@@BacktoBlading thx so Much for Your Answer Lawrence..! Have a Good Days and Enjoy Agressiv Blading 😎✌️👍
Do you always use 50/50 frames
Usually, I own the company so they’re easy to get. I love my Oysi frames though and if a skate comes with a frame I’ll try it first.
@@BacktoBlading awesome im that case those frames on this video will tgey work on my rb tribe skate mine are a mens 13
hey dude i could do with a helmet got a broken leg right now dont want break my head keep up the amazing work
I know how it feels man I broke my arm trying to do a Makio on a really tall box, I also broke my fingers trying to jump a sketchy stair set
Most comfortable boot for freeskate, for aggressive its kinda too stiff on the cuff area
Yeah, you could see that on my royales. Made it work though.
@@BacktoBlading I'm so sorry for the delay on the frames. I will send them this week so you can try them with those boots

Try staggering your feet. That’s a great way to learn the balance. And please wear a helmet!
Cj carbon with ground control 80mm, poor mans wizard?!?!
How many skate u have bro?
gotta learn to flow through it and land fakie. you'll have an easier time locking on tricks. ;)

They sound rattly for carbons , what's making the noise mate? Adapts are 100% worth the extra over any skate , I love mine
The buckles are buckled. I really need to replace them.
@@BacktoBlading ahh I see , I struggling to think what it could be
Great skates, but they don’t look very reliable for aggressive skating, especially for such a price :)
They’re very specialized. I don’t think they’re for everyone, but I had a great session.
I need a helmet 😁 just got back into skating
All these comments saying they need a helmet, go out and buy one your brain is a lot more important than 50 bucks have some self respect
Hey, I've been skating for a year now and could really use a helmet.
