I sat in a movie theater by myself and watched this movie on its first run. I bought the LP, and later found a rare copy of the movie on DVD. I don't think soundtrack was ever issued on CD. Ha! It is on Ebay.
I've been looking all over the place for " I Want A Cattle Ranch In Beverly Hills" played by Barry Melton in Zachariah. This had a great soundtrack. I too saw it in the theater back in 1971.

Sound track to this movie is great....the movie is a little weird ........I understand it's pretty much Siddhartha by Herman Hesse, scene for scene.... the LP kicks ass !
...saw the movie at the post theater in Illesheim, Germany ca 1972 - almost FIFTY FUCKING years ago...most likely wouldn't have paid to see it in a civilian theater - but @ 50 cents it was a good way of co9mmitting 'chronocide' for an hour on a Wednesday night during the Cold War
It's now considered a cult a cult classic as of 2020
