My dear friend Lucas used to listen to this song a lot, he's the one who showed me this band for the first time. Unfortunately, my friend died this year in Curitiba-PR, Brazil, victim of a sarcoma. May this comment last forever in your name, Lucas.
Cover version. The original is by the band Aphrodite's Child, which was fronted by Demis Roussos (!) in 1967. The track was originally released on the album 666 in 1971.

The original "Four Horsemen" by Aphrodite's Child, off the album "666", featured the almost angelic vocals of Demis Roussos and the guitar of Anargyros "Silver" Koulouris as well as keyboards by Vangelis Papathanassíou. This version is excellent and it's a tribute to the original.

@@Fenix011000 I like Behemoth, don't get me wrong, but Rotting Christ has a better catalogue if you like good chuggy riffs and nice rhythmic slow-down drumming, and obviously atmosphere/topics. Also better leads imo. Behemoth seems more mainstream these days

I cannot realise that a hippy oriented artist that song for love, nature, flowers, bees etc. made a whole concept album with 666 and revelation, even if this album is "satyric" in a way . Absolutely hilarious...

Also check his first album, fire and ice, the album attitudes, his house of the rising sun, the song from Blade Runner where he sings tales of the future, also the album le grec, other aphrodites Child songs such as the other people, always stand in my way and others. However he said once that he wanted to explore more his darker and bluesier side.
