I've got the basic black G10 with S30V and I feel it's the best folding knife ever. When I carry any of my other folders, there are times when I wish I was carrying a different blade. Not with this knife. If I had to get rid of all my knives, I would keep my Military 2. Call me obsessed but I sleep with it right beside my pillow.
Great video! Thank you for mentioning the lanyard tube, I can’t believe they released this model without addressing that. I was hoping by now we’d have a Paramilitary 3 (revised PM2) without the lanyard tube also by now, and maybe some chamfered handle edges to go along with that. Regarding the pivot, I’ve had to disassemble and polish the washers on my recent Spydercos to fix the blade play problems- why can’t they do this from the factory? Most consumers won’t do this on their own and will not have a smooth knife action with no blade play.

Just picked up a military 2 s110v from Knives Ship Free for $168. Have the micarta and the standard s30v models. Love them. But, the stretch 2 XL G10 is a great edc knife. Grabbed 2 recently off the secondary market for $198. And $202. Lnib. Love the stretch xl in cruwear.
Their micarta is incredible in hand but way more flexible than Ultrex's micarta. I had to send my first Military 2 CruCarta back because it was lockstick hell and the blade (with pivot tightened down at max) was traveling from one liner to the other. I asked for a new one though because it is a replacement to my S30V Military 2 which is an EXCELLENT knife ! I'm gonna make some crazy scales for it, that'll fix any flex ;)
What's the hardware brother it looks like t10 and t8 i hope the pocket clip isn't a t6 that would be ridiculous your spot on het rid of the lanyard hole and definitely needs a choil
I have that same style coming in tomorrow. I did some shopping online before I bought one. Several places have it for $228.00 or within a couple of dollars. Great review, I already have the PM2 SALT Magnacut, PM3 S45VN, Shaman M4. I am hoping they will come out with a Military 2 in a better steel soon.
I am holding the military 2 in brown micarta … It is not the para military 2 this is the military2 … the blue one is a PM2. I believe you’re the one that’s confused. I know which knives I own I know which knives I filmed and I don’t believe I even mentioned the PM3 in this video

@@brandonwayne2343 body screws are T8 the pivot screw is a T5 however the pocket clip screws are T6
