Exactly. Sure Old Fred acted like a dumbass from time to time but not always. He wasn’t a toxic sexist man child. Hell from time to time he’d get saved by the other characters. And we see why he’s such a himbo when you see his adopted sibling.
I miss: Fred's resourcefulness and good leadership. Daphne's impactful strengths that are disguised WITH her beauty and quite independent. Velma's quick wit and analytical prowess. Shaggy's and Scooby's quick thinking and quick improvissions. They were the classic school stereotypes--a jock, beauty, nerd, and loser with his dog. However, they were not molded to be such stereotypes because they fit each other well, support each other, and have each other's backs. They fill each other's gaps through thick and thin. This show, however, took a precious gem and grind it to dust. 😢😢😢
Fred has literally always been an example of how masculinity can be super positive and a good role model for boys. Velma saw that and said “nah we hate men he’s bad”.
He was great. The whole cast was. Velma: Smart, but reliable and loyal to her friends Fred: Strong, dedicated to what he enjoys, willing to make the sacrifice for others Shaggy: Willing to face his fears, the type of friend you could text at 3am saying "I need help" and he would be there.
I think society as a whole has treated gender roles poorly and there’s nothing wrong with being masculine or feminine I won’t get into the moralistic theological and historical understanding of it. But to put it simply men should be proud of who they are, and not ashamed if they are men should be able to share there experiences without fear of judgement. The same applies to women they should be proud of who they are and should be able to share their experiences without fear of judgment. Within the context of love there should be a respect for the other gender and a truly moralistic law abiding love. Something society has lost because they do not follow the commandments or the virtues of the civilized world.
Not just Fred, in short Fred now is a little shit stain, daphne is now an arrogant popular girl, Velma is a femanazi while also being the “strong independent black woman” stereotype. Shaggy isn’t goofy anymore (plus no badass bar fights) and just a stoner dude adding nothing to the show, and no one could bother adding scooby in
They are like people might get offended but I want to be offended you know it's just I don't care about new versions of cartoon characters I want them to come back as they were it just hurts to watch them kill a show because we want to accept people but we already have accepted people everyone really doesn't to get cancelled but trying not to get cancelled gets you cancelled so just bring back what everyone wants
Fred was always gentle and friendly to everyone and was the leader of the gang for a reason, the Velma show literally made the opposite of what the character was meant to represent.
Fred Jones was alongside Velma as someone with an amazing IQ and thought process while also being the muscle of the group. Guy was straight the full package.
Fred is really Underrated. He’s just a lovable Himbo who can be confused at times, but still has his heart in the right place. And is willing to go above and Beyond for his friends.
An important point that mindy didn't even understand when she was saying velma was the smart girl always solving mysteries yet in her own show the constantly mocked and childish Fred solves more mysteries and contributes more to solving mysteries than Velma did in the entire show effectively making Fred out right the better detective

Exactly. Sure Old Fred acted like a dumbass from time to time but not always. He wasn’t a toxic sexist man child. Hell from time to time he’d get saved by the other characters. And we see why he’s such a himbo when you see his adopted sibling.
Yet people still like him more then the rest of the cast of Velma
Daphne saying "Fake Fred" just cracks me up😂
Old fred:i was trined by Drake,Batman, Tarzan,Buddist monks and Sherlock Holmes.
New fraud: 🤥
Old Fred was so dang powerful. He was the Vegeta to Shaggy's Goku.
Fred was the GOAT back then
Fred fans
👇🏻
bro the arrow he shot to tree literely went more than half way through it hes dam strong.
The old Fred showed us how masculinity can be good.
The wokist Fred is disgusting.
•
Hope the world will return to the old Fred soon
He was the goat back then.
It's the old Fred that we like, with that incredible personality and that sometimes he makes mistakes but he's always so incredible
That Velma show really did Every character dirty, probably the only character who’s personality wasn’t entirely uprooted and replaced was Daphne
Fred now:Egocentric idiot
Fred then:Badass mf
Fun fact: Ever since the beginning, Frank Welker voiced Fred and Scooby for over 50 years!
Even in Velma? I refuse to watch a single episode so idk
@@brotbrotsen1100 no, velma changed everyone’s actors
@@meowmeow9617honestly thank god. Everyone just needs to act like they aren’t related what so ever lol
@@meowmeow9617 Thank God, hopefully in a few years Velma becomes lost Media
No, he hasn't done all the scoobert voices, but a few variants
I miss:
Fred's resourcefulness and good leadership.
Nah shaggys more of a stoner in my eyes
Now, they became what we all HATE:
-Fuckboy Fred
-Witch Daphne
-(the fuck is Velma even now?)
-A nigga
@@jakemac8544ah scoob you got the stuff I ordered
@@jakemac8544which is kind of a definition of a loser in most cases of school stereotypes
Fred has literally always been an example of how masculinity can be super positive and a good role model for boys.
Velma saw that and said “nah we hate men he’s bad”.
He was great. The whole cast was.
Velma: Smart, but reliable and loyal to her friends
Fred: Strong, dedicated to what he enjoys, willing to make the sacrifice for others
Shaggy: Willing to face his fears, the type of friend you could text at 3am saying "I need help" and he would be there.
He had a strong role model father back then who raised his son right.
@@Razdasoldierthe "Velma show"
@@Caligulashorse1453there’s a history to why things are the way they are now 😔
We love old Fred, we love him and stan him
Wait! I haven’t watched Scooby-doo in a while they did my boy so dirty!
Not just Fred, in short Fred now is a little shit stain, daphne is now an arrogant popular girl, Velma is a femanazi while also being the “strong independent black woman” stereotype. Shaggy isn’t goofy anymore (plus no badass bar fights) and just a stoner dude adding nothing to the show, and no one could bother adding scooby in
Old Fred was an absolute unit and that cannot be argued
There’s nothing to argue about
mindy kaling creative ideas for a reboot destroyed the whole Scooby-Doo universe experience.
I just want to sit down and cry for a day for all the classic characters ruined by today's writers and studios😢
Reminder: The old Mystery Gang fought an eldritch demon and won.
Fred Now : 🫤👎❌ Fred then: 💪💯
Agree
Fred was always gentle and friendly to everyone and was the leader of the gang for a reason, the Velma show literally made the opposite of what the character was meant to represent.
Old fred is a smart hero
New Fred ... there are no words for him he just bad
Old Fred was so badass
Old Fred: Goated OG
New Fred: Not the same 😢
Old Fred was a good natured soul with a can do attitude. Apparently, the college degree writers at HBO can’t wrap their heads around goodness.
Fred Jones was alongside Velma as someone with an amazing IQ and thought process while also being the muscle of the group. Guy was straight the full package.
His only problem is that sometimes he had a huge ego but other than that he was perfect 👌
Who misses the old Fred?
👇
same to bro
I do
Same
i do
Dude Fred during his whole Arnold shwarsanagger PREDATOR ark was bad ass.
Modern Fred is for the laughs.
(He doesn’t get them)
Classic Fred is what we love,
even though he was sometimes unprepared, he could empathize?
That's crazy, considering I never laughed once at modern Fred.
Nah, modern Fred is to fulfill the weird power trip that is the Velma show
I don't even laugh at this new Fred. it's just disgusting.
What laughs that show is faker than Kim Kardashians ass
Fred was one of the best fictional characters to have such a common name
I miss the old Fred and hate how they portrayed him horribly as a character in Velma
We have fred the boy, when before we had Fred the Man.
You mean fred the brainless baby
Look how they've massacred my boy 😭
The fact velma show thought rewriting the personalities was a good idea never seen something destroy itself like that show did
Literally all of the characters from Velma wouldn’t survive in any of the universes that their predecessors lived in.
Fred was a consistent savage, even Shaggy only had moments
Fred may not me the smartest, but he is a hero.
Fred is really Underrated. He’s just a lovable Himbo who can be confused at times, but still has his heart in the right place. And is willing to go above and Beyond for his friends.
I haven’t watched Scooby Doo in soooo long (5yrs ago)
I’ll have to rewatch my childhood.
Fred was a the best rile model for kids to ubderstand what it means tk be a good man but the way they portray him now..
An important point that mindy didn't even understand when she was saying velma was the smart girl always solving mysteries yet in her own show the constantly mocked and childish Fred solves more mysteries and contributes more to solving mysteries than Velma did in the entire show effectively making Fred out right the better detective
The real Fred: Cares about his friends, respects everyone around him, intellegent, kind, polite, everything a man should be
The “ hewwo fwiends my name is wittle fwed” was giving me *SEVERE* little Gideon vibes💀💀
Little Gideon could trick new Fred into giving him all his money
@@ZoroIsthebestonepiececharecterHAHAHA It's funny cuz it's true
Fred was literally a badass with cool attitude
Now Fred: an idiot with money
Old Fred: Batman if his parents aren't dead
Old fred is the only fred, he was a true man, he always was there for his friends and had an excellent trap making skill
this feels like teen titans all over again …
It's even worse somehow, at least TT Go can be funny
@@brucejedilee5290totally agree these characters were mutilated beyond recognition.
@@KallistaKamnetz-ot5jn And did you see what they did to the Hex Girls to?
Teen Titans wasn't even half as bad as this is. They turned it into a kids show but the characters didn't fully lose character.
