I want bronze rollers like that!! “Plastic”rollers seem to lose their shape. Great position for the command mic. The speaker on the Icom is very clear. I think for long passages an alternative mounting point for the chart plotter forward under the spray-hood (dodger in N America) would be very useful , as you’ll probably spend most time in front of the wheel. The bracket you have and being able to detach the display is a great idea. P&N

Happy New Year🎉 Andy if your main anchor is all chain, then I would suggest that you should have a chain groove cut in the roller, this stops the chain from twisting before entering the windless Gypsy

We use it regularly, we use navionics and orca on it. Along with just the normal stuff you do on a tablet, you will definitely see it again in future episodes!
I think it’s an excellent piece of construction but I would have made it detachable in case the more pedantic marinas don’t charge me for being longer. I once was charged because my anchor overhung the bow!!!

Ahhhhh no she isn’t. But she is very very similar
She is a Bowman 46, similar to the KP46 in many ways.
The bolt holding the roller on that new bow roller is too short, it doesn’t go through the nylock, should be 2 threads showing.
You are right, I might put a split pin through it or replace it with a longer bolt.
When you use the word yacht, I delete.
