A 2 point difference DESPITE being tabled, that was one heck of a game. Cegorach's chosen may have gotten the last laugh, but the Shadow in the Warp is never bested for long!

Couple of things: -Having JT back is spectacular; glad he's doing well and I have always loved his energy. Would love to have something of that quality in my shop! -Matt and Cody knew the strengths and weakness of the armies, terrain and objectives; wonderfully played game. Can't wait for the next one!
NGL JTs narration is what hooked me into 40k cause it felt familiar and professional like the play by play narration on American Ninja Warrior or Cooking Competition Show on daytime TV. That's not a knock. I don't even play 40k and now I've logged like 30 hours of Luetin lore videos. It's good to have him back.
Play on Tabletop is absolutely one of the best channels to get started watching 40k, the other one I’d suggest is Winters SEO who’s battles tend to be a bit longer but he explains the rules and thought process in a little more because it’s not as time limited as 40K in 40mins
Play On Tabletop introduced me into the world of 40k. These guys are a fantastic place to start. Personally, I enjoy Tabletop Tactics for my long form battle reports, because I love their personalities and the flavour they play with. They explain things a enough to understand the thought process and general synergies while assuming non-players are watching. Both great channels.
Finally, I got to watch this one, and Oh Boy! Two armies that can swing so quickly, with players that have complete command of the rules, it was even better than I thought it would be. The Tyranid paint had such a great intensity in that blue, and the Harlequins had laser perfect lines, and both armies showed off some really solid blending. Good show all around!
JT really had a strong performance hosting this battle, and the new sound effects for the guns and that venom cannon acid beam visual effect with sound was just next level awesome, the armies are indeed gorgeous and those black dice really turned it around in the offense, i thought he had the Steve dice for a moment but they turned into Ork Steve dice and things started blowing up fast. Tyranids are proving to be very entertaining, perhaps someday we will see them when they make it into melee

Man, the recent roller coast of GW must make publishing these so unnerving. Like, every time one of these goes up, I'm thinking "oh, they're not doing this NEW change", because the filming and editing process to make this kind of quality makes it such a challenge to keep up with GW's lightning pace of changes this year. Thank you guys for putting them up regardless, because it's just fun to watch people play 40k streamlined like this!

I've long been interested in the Sisters of Battle, Tau, and Tyranids, design-wise, and chose the Adepta Sororitas as my choice of army. Naturally, I read the Sisters of Battle comic and The Book of the Martyrs, and the descriptions of the Tyranids in The Martyrdom of Sister Ishani are absolutely terrifying. The way they attack and kill, and the way the hive mind works, absorbing memories, is very scary. Obviously there's nothing similar in the real world but in the realms of fantasy/science fiction, Tyranids have to be some of the most frightening creatures ever designed (what makes them more scary than the xenomorphs from Alien (despite clearly being an inspiration), in my opinion, is the hive mind, the claws, and the sheer numbers).
