What an amazing video! Thanks so much to everybody who put it together. I don’t know why, but I’ve run across a lot of comments and videos of folks dealing this losing their dad. My dad’s been gone 3 years now. I’ve found that I cherish the good memories more as time as gone on.
Wow! This was sentimental to the core. There is a lot we can still give to the future generations. While I still have my dad around to hunt with, he doesn't get around like he used to. This season I will be sure to take this in and create lasting memories.
Heck , this hits me so much , I love to hunt with my dad , we do it as much as we can , we are going hunting in about four days from now for about four days .
👏 👏 👏 Lost my dad in 2015 and love to carry his single shot coey 20gauge and think of following him around on my snowshoes hunting rough grouse. Very touching thank you.
Fantastic video and great great storytelling. And to the cameraman filming at 0939.. INSANE to be able to follow that bird the whey you did. Loved every minute of this video. Thank you.
This is what memories are made of. I just got a Britt pup. I live in Ohio. Unless I can get back out west, I will never see another Sage Grouse. I will be relegated to hunting preserves and paid hunts. I envy you. Good luck to you in all of your endeavours.
Brandon I have to disagree with you sir. When you hunt with your fathers gun he is there with you! Great story, very touching. The best things in life happen when you spend time with the ones you love.
Anyone in sterling Colorado willing to teach me the ways of upland bird hunting? Theirs a lot of private land hard to figure it all out without the space.
I just moved to Billings 3 years ago I’ve met my beautiful girlfriend and she has her fathers shotgun from when he use to bird hunt I just got my first double barrel I love Montana

Fewer and fewer of us young fellas can relate to this as the years pass. I still cling to the old world because of my dad and what he taught me.
Wonderful video! It conveys the magic that is upland hunting with your family and awesome bird dogs. ....hats off to you.
