R u guys new? Just found this channel. Great review! I own one the hatchback. Got the vti-l version as it’s my daily commute car. I must say it’s the best handling in its class period. Test drove the new mazda3 and Corolla. Still no match to the civic. Nice to see new channels in Aussie! Greetings from top end!
Thank you! Yes I'm a big Civic fan too. Sometimes when I finish reviewing a high performance European car and then get back into my Civic I'm often surprised at just how well it drives.
Great review, I just swap to a sport hatchback(I’m in the US) from a Si coupe (need room for the kids). I feel OEM Nav is an outdated feature that isn’t needed. Do to most cars now coming with the ability to use Apple car play and android auto. So no need to paid the dealer for software updates. Keep up on the great videos
Thank you! We didn't get the coupe is Australia unfortunately. The nav on the 2021 model was very outdated, but the new one is a lot better. Thanks for watching!
Great review mate. I'm considering a Civic as my new car, but the turbo versions are a bit out of my price range. Is the 1.8L engine good enough considering how light the car is?
Hi Turtle. The 1.8 is still pretty good, but it is noticeably less zippy than the 1.5 turbo, but it does get the same excellent driving dynamics. Now could be a good time to buy one though with the new model on the way, I'm sure Honda will be lowering prices to clear old stock. Good luck and thanks for watching!
Repairs are fine - there's no shortage of parts despite Honda downsizing their presence in Australia. Mine is still under warranty. Servicing costs around $320 per year. Thanks for watching!
I wish we got that color here. If i ever get to the point i need a paint job on my coupe im going with that.
