Love your recent uploads of mid-late 80's MLB.
Keep em coming please.
I am sure, i among many others really appreciate it.
Miss the NL with pitcher hitting.
No goofy, loony gimmicks like ghost runner, obsession with micro seconds and pitch clocks and timers, limits on pickoffs joke to artificially inflate stolen bag numbers, busty bases.
I would rather watch the 80's pure, competitive and golden era of ball than this current MLB version of dictator and tyrant Manfred.
Thanks Phenia Films MLB.
Regards.
Thank you for the classic Cub games!
you better-you bet 👌
Much better to watch than today's BB.
You sound like the old farts in 1986 who said that same thing about baseball back then.
True but the pitch clock and the Reds today (base stealing) have made it go toward this direction at least. Baseball became unwatchable with the slow pace and everyone only swinging from the fences
@@roberthightower9889 pitch clock is another abomination. I am pleased to have never watched a game with one. Have not watched a game since 2019 and before that watched since 1978. I was happy to see Nomar get traded as I watched every Sox game with him taking 30 to 40 seconds between pitches. Should be a batter clock too. These games from Phenia bring me great memories.

Speed & Power….Eric Davis was a beast
Cooperstown needs Eric the Red.
Ron Cey is my all-time Favorite player, I think because he looks so much like a penguin, what a work of art
Harry called Jody Davis “ Jody the catcher “ as the game began.
In that Era: It was Jody- & That was it. Best Cubs Catcher since Hartnett. The Cubs should induct Jody into their Hall Of Fame
Look how fast the game moved. No pitch clock.
Bullpen's were ~40ft from 1B/3B with no fence
366 feet? Bounced off the building. its 355 down the line, I dont think it went 11 feet over the fence.
Kal Daniels could rake until knee surguries prematurely ended his career. In his best years he was like a left handed hitting Toy Cannon (Jimmy Wynn)
I think Harry had a brain cramp after Gullickson’s strike out to end the 2nd.
You can literally hear Steve Stone cringing.
Nothing new...
It’s called Budweiser.
Now I know why I don't remember Ron Davis that well. He wasn't very good. Would have been better leaving Sutcliffe in
Remember when chicks in bikinis were in the stands?
