I like the 80's Chicago.mJordan was amazing and the team pla fast and clever. But I adore the Celtics choreography: they don't play, they dance. But most of all, it delights me how DJ play against MJ, the allegedly best player of all times. Of course Denis Johnson was one of the great players of the 70's and 80's.
The 1985-86 Bulls were not that talented. Their only other offensive threat was Orlando Woolridge, who would be a role player on just about any other team. They needed Jordan to score a ton for them to be the least bit competitive against a legendarily stacked team like the 86' Celtics.
I never wanted Chicago to lose so badly as this game. "Where's Michael? Where's Michael?" If he has the ball, he's shooting 'cause he sure can't pass. Three assists---big whoop. He seems determined not to be a team player.
Apparently you have no idea the inferior teammates J had to play with. Orlando Woolridge was the only starter in double figures in the regular season. I bet you couldn't name any bench players that were former All Stars. How do I know well I'm from Chicago and knew the scrubs on the team
This is such a foolish, ignorant comment. Jordan was a great passer. The Bulls needed him to score as much as possible at this time. They didn't have much talent at all. Their second best player was a glorified role player, Orlando Woolridge. On top of that they were going against one of the greatest, most talented teams of all time.
Y’all been lying. A bunch of ass sandwiches back in the day. And then y’all try to play on James Harden but look at what Michael Jordan doing😂, literally the same thing. This era ass on defense, barely good on offense, weakest fouls, defensive rules was clearly soft too. Illegal defense, really? MJ NOT THE GOAT NO MORE! 😂.
