Actually the camera is quite great, more than enough for what I need.
Indeed. web browsing does not work very well any more. Unfortunately, because this is the most beautiful iphone ever made. The recent models are abysmal with their huge-sized screens. Even the iphone mini is way to big for me plus I dislike that the screen covers the whole phone.

The only real way I could make mine still usable (and I mean barely) was to downgrade it to iOS 8 and install a bunch of jailbroken tweaks. The end result is that SMS/calls work, Discord works, Telegram works (if you have an old account), Spotify works out of the box although is painfully slow and RAM crashes frequently, and old games work generally okay on it (Hill Climb Racing, Jetpack Joyride, Cut the Rope, Geometry Dash, etc.)
Ultimately mine mostly spends its life as a music phone with my Spotify premium account, and usually doing so in the car on long trips.
I wish you can get mine to work like that

Every year, will old iPhone work. Every year, it wont do much but simple shit. Every year people make the exact same video and ask the exact same question. I have a video idea…..old toaster, will it work in 2024? Old cassette deck? Old vcr? Old bike? Sick of seeing old iPhones. How about an old htc like the dreaded 3d?

@@bb363b no it uses a micro sim, the first iphones up to 3gs used the mini sim, which I think you referred to when speaking of a "full sized" sim. The actual full size of a sim is that of a credit card, those early sims were used in phones like the famous 90's motorolas.
