I thought this was a nice video about downgrading an iPhone 4s. Instead I‘m being tortured by having to look at you ruining this rare iOS 7 4s… iOS 5 and 7 are the only iOS versions you can’t downgrade to on a 4s
@@levonandonian7613 I can’t afford a Mac and Legacy iOS Kit didn’t work on Linux, Let’s be honest, other than 32 bit support, going from iOS 12 to 10 would do nothing but hinder app support
First time I did this worked like a charm, but then after a year I decided to downgrade my iPhone 4S to iOS 6 again but had to install older versions of tools and had to attempt it so many times but finally managed to do it.
this could be done a lot more easier and more efficiently if you could've just do the jailbreak with no computer and installing the OTA (not the restore) firmware with 3utools
@@isaacwright2247 you can save blobs and restore an ipsw though lol also with ios 7 blobs you basically have an untethered jailbreak to any ios version iirc because of that exploit

it was really cool! can you link in the desc a guide/the method you used to get it working? i've got an ipad 2 (same chip as 4s) but everywhere i go it says i need an arduino to enter pwn dfu, but i don't have the money...
I tried to downgrade an iPad mini 1 a few months ago I got from a dealership that was activation locked and it was missing from 3uTools. I thought this would bypass activation lock. Turns out, all the bypassers now require iOS 12 or later🤬! Why can you do it in 2023?
why did you update the 4s... just use legacy ios kit on mac, save blobs, downgrade to 6.1.3 with no upgrade to ios 9, and go back to the rare ios 7 whenever you feel like it
You somehow, went through the exact same situation i did, except i used a Mac for my downgrade. My 4S like yours, had 7.1.1, i tried KDFU, it failed, updated to ios 9, then i could do the downgrade lol. I'm enjoying my iOS 6 install :3
@@JigaTech You didn't need to use Linux, you could've just downgraded 3utools to version 2.38 and flash it there. Newer versions don't work with the iOS 6 flashing process for some reason.
@@JigaTech Nah mate. Definitely your video. The proof I have is when you are recording voice while "live" as it were, that's when the high warble happens. But conversely, when you are voiceovering in an edit in post, no such warbling. So if you're using the same mic for both segments, its not the mic then. If so it may just be background noise seeping in like a fan running nearby during "live" on the scene? My headphones are Bose. So they are decent quality.
Hmm. I was using my phone's mic during "live" segments and a blue yeti during voiceover. I'll look into it in the next video. Are there any other videos of mine doing it?

To use downgrade on 3utools u need older version of it. 2.36 for example.

ios 7 is kinda rare on the 4s, should have saved blobs. you could have even downgraded it to ios 5 using ios 7.1.x

It has disappeared for iOS 9.3.6 on iPad mini 1 in 2024.
If you think this is a nightmare, try downgrading an iPhone 5s to iOS 10. I tried Linux, gave up and stuck with 12.5.7.
