How did you get to the hard to reach nut and bolt on the steering gear? I cant seem to figure a way to get to the nut. And to put it back on looks impossible.
If your talking about the passenger side nut an bolt on the rack and pinion I had to lower the cradle to have clearance and used a wrench through the whole on the backside of the cradle. It was a real pain in the ass. Good luck man
You'll need pcm from fwd and body control module reprogram keys . To avoid abs awd disable lights . If im correct the awd trans is a ,2.83 ratio and the fwd is 3.29 depending of which vehicle it cam from.
Thanks for confirming what I was told but couldnt really fine much about it. Had a hard time trying to find the right gear ratio so I said screw awd lol
! Very Good !
7:27 Is there any way I can drop the tranny to open the side case and replace the tranny speed sensor without needing to drop the cradle?
Thanks for this.. about to drop the tranny on my Aztek.. curious if there's any need to support the engine from the top?
Probably be easier. I did from the bottom and it was in the way.

You will have a problems with gear shifting timing speedometer ratio not the same.
Yea I'm either going to reprogram pcm or swap it
