Mattu kicked because they need pure Mid-laner player since Miracle is a hard carry. The decision was, Kuro kick mattu or Miracle, and he choose Mattu. But glad now Mattu in Secret and win 2 online competitions👍
Miracle was a pure mid player and was concidered the best mid player in the world. So that doesnt make sense. Maybe miracle was afraid of playing mid against the best so he wanted to play carry so he wouldnt look bad. Miracle is the most overrated player in dota for sure.

Your hard carry doesn’t have to be the most charismatic if you have other players that are. Jerax was pretty good for charisma also. Cool laid back positive vibes help teams. I don’t always get that from kuroky especially when I see him freaking out during matches.

He kicked Matu because changing GH or MindControl can't strongly change the whole team playstyle, but changing core position and swipe Miracle to 1 pos was like the new beginning. He had two options - kick Miracle or kick Matu. I think everyone do the same.
Liquid now main problem is their draft hero picks and replacement of w33, they seems to have very limit heroes to play with. They are stuck in somewhere with the new changes in their team. They have to overcome this issue, else they unable to max out their potential in their team.

w33 actually has a wide hero pool but he joined liquid on such late notice compared to the time before Ti9 that they do not have enough time to build chemistry on w33's other heroes. IMO liquid with Matu had two position 1.5s with miracle and matu and it never felt like they had a traditional mid player. Sure both could play mid but when did you ever seen Matu play the OD's, embers, leshracs, storms etc of the meta whereas with W33 he is a specialist at mid and has a diverse hero pool of all the mids that he has mastered and now they can focus on their respective roles more with a mid that has a more meta and traditional mid hero pool unlike Matu's brood, necro, DP, lycan which are not really standard. Not to say it didn't or couldn't work but I always felt like liquid needed this. IMO Matu is better at carry than Mid and Miracle is himself, able to do all. GL to both Liquid and Matu in the future both have bright futures, of course.

So many comments on love on matu, i felt respect to matu too, but i'll explain why actually matu got kicked, Matu is morelikely the least perform player in the team, he played core and he is just an average player for a core, now liquid have w33ha. Which is not to be questionable possibly the strongest meepo player, and ended up having lose streak. From here i could learn that all player in team strong ( high chance lose) prolly because everybody wanna perform but they need a X factor which i do believe Matumbaman had in small amount. This X factor is somehow more shown in a average skilled pro league player.

His hero pool is limited. Not that he has small hero pool, its that the heroes he plays are limiting the number of strategies Liquid can play. Every other team learned how to play against it. With w33 they got completly different hero pool, play style and strategies they can execute. You could definitely see the results of it this TI. Why Matu? Everybody else can adjust. GH plays whatevers best in the meta. Miracle has the largest hero pool of any player in the game. MC is very versatile as well. Matu was the only logical choice if they wanted to change their playstyle. (this is comming from some1 who stopped cheering for Liquid since they kicked Matu)

Kuroky wanted to blame someone so he chose matumbaman. But look how well matumbaman is doing in TI10. Kuroky basically saying the team was lacking charisma before and desire to win but hey just pointing out that comes from leaders and captains. Your hard carry doesn’t have to be the most charismatic if you have other players that are. Jerax was pretty good for charisma also. Cool laid back positive vibes help teams. I don’t always get that from kuroky especially when I see him freaking out during matches.
But they did make it to TI9 finals after this change. So not a bad decision on hindsight when this happened.

He kicked Matu because changing GH or MindControl can't strongly change the whole team playstyle, but changing core position and swipe Miracle to 1 pos was like the new beginning. He had two options - kick Miracle or kick Matu. I think everyone do the same.
Liquid now main problem is their draft hero picks and replacement of w33, they seems to have very limit heroes to play with. They are stuck in somewhere with the new changes in their team. They have to overcome this issue, else they unable to max out their potential in their team.

IMO liquid with Matu had two position 1.5s with miracle and matu and it never felt like they had a traditional mid player. Sure both could play mid but when did you ever seen Matu play the OD's, embers, leshracs, storms etc of the meta whereas with W33 he is a specialist at mid and has a diverse hero pool of all the mids that he has mastered and now they can focus on their respective roles more with a mid that has a more meta and traditional mid hero pool unlike Matu's brood, necro, DP, lycan which are not really standard. Not to say it didn't or couldn't work but I always felt like liquid needed this. IMO Matu is better at carry than Mid and Miracle is himself, able to do all. GL to both Liquid and Matu in the future both have bright futures, of course.

Which is not to be questionable possibly the strongest meepo player, and ended up having lose streak. From here i could learn that all player in team strong ( high chance lose) prolly because everybody wanna perform but they need a X factor which i do believe Matumbaman had in small amount. This X factor is somehow more shown in a average skilled pro league player.

They still didnt really explain why matu. Yes something needed to be changed, but why change matu? Was it his playstyle, his attitude/drive for the game, personality?? Just beating around the bush, but i can understand they dont want to go into detail- to protect matu's reputation if not their own.
His hero pool is limited. Not that he has small hero pool, its that the heroes he plays are limiting the number of strategies Liquid can play. Every other team learned how to play against it. With w33 they got completly different hero pool, play style and strategies they can execute. You could definitely see the results of it this TI.
Why Matu? Everybody else can adjust. GH plays whatevers best in the meta. Miracle has the largest hero pool of any player in the game. MC is very versatile as well. @@furutawashuu9357 I reviewed matumbaman's typical hero pole. It didn't fit much in this patch and that is what I have in mind since the release of 7.22. Both Meepo, Templar, Windranger made its biggest advantage in this tournament.
