Apex does advise removing it, but I can see how just removing enough of it for clearance would work. I am local to apex and visited yesterday because I was getting some "dead trigger" issues after installing the apex on the new comped spec series. I believe they have resolved the issue with a new trigger bar, but he gave me a lot of info on tolerances and how important they are. Have you experienced any trigger related malfunctions?

That rubber thing has to be removed???
Yes, just removed it
@@gsriouswill it work just fine without it removed? Without any modifications? Thanks!
@@andyhsongI initially modified it. But when I was shooting it, the trigger stop rotated a bit to interfere with the trigger. Ended up removing it
How are you liking the trigger after modifying it?
yooo a loophead whaddup!
I love it. Best thing made for the gun. I use it in USPSA matches. Gun and trigger have been phenomenal
@@gsrious what holster are you using for IPDA. I'm having trouble drawing the metal since the slide stop lever is larger than the polymers.
@@thebourbonnook Ragnarok. I dremeled a little of the material off the holster to make clearance for the extended slide stop lever. It's really minor.
Not needed
