- Welcome back!
This week we are making our way into Kenilworth in the Sunshine coast Hinterlands near the glass house mountains. First stop is the bakery to get some donuts and coffee. Nearby is the Boolomba national park great for exploring and some 4x4 with our Next Gen Ford Ranger. A rocky climb up to the lookout and we are blown away as we had no expectations for what we would fine. we explore Maleny and Montville and sit around the campfire. After kenilworth we visit the ginger factory and have a one nighter near brisbane at wescloud campground. After that we battle some traffic on our way into the Big4 Gold coast holiday parks and check out some slides to relax.

The best! 🤤🤤
Welcome to the Gold Coast! The Big4 at Helensvale is amazing, and I hope you enjoyed your stay.
Thank you so much!
Yum Yum Yum donuts
Gold Coast caravan park in Helensvale was amazing when we stayed there. Dog friendly and has a great off leash dog area. Bathrooms are next level ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great video as usual. Beautiful country.
🫶🏼 thanks for watching
Bryce I learnt when I bought my first 4x4 not to take it to the dealer for service and repairs. They are rip off artists. I have since found good reliable diesel mechanics through word of mouth.
More great camping spots, love water crossing 😊xx
Thanks for watching! 🥰👍🏽
Thanks for visiting us @ClockShopMontville

Great place hey!
love watching your adventures , we were avid caravanners in the UK for 27 years and now we have moved over to Australia living on Chevron Island on the gold coast i want to buy a caravan and circumnavigate Australia but my wife is not so keen , but i will keep working on it ,
Thanks so much for watching and following along 🥰
I hope you can convince her 🙌🏼
Great Vid.
Snorkel is a great idea, with new rangers front air intake.
Interesting to know your thoughts, I reckon a front intake is better than wheel arch intake 🤔
@@CaravanAdventureAus When you hit any depth of water above 500mm, there is a good chance of the water going staight into the intake. Rather than the indirect route to inside the gaurd. Also maintaining a small bow wave will help prevent the water entering the gaurd. No guarantee on any of my comments.😁
Great Vid …. I get Chelsea been scared of heights and huge drops looking out the passenger window… eeek 😨
Yes always daunting 😳
Hi guys we love watching you every week.. do you mind if we get the 4wdrive track details the large hill where miss got her nugget lol n all the other tracks up to the look out please we don't get out driving much.
Travel safe and keep having fun Australia is a beautiful country to explore I did alot when younger

Thanks for watching! Xx
OMG we were laughing about the Ford Service Centers, we have to argue everytime about the tyre rotation, I love how they just stand there and argue back, Don’t go to Albury, the worst,
Hey guys are just using a hand held receiver
Hey! Yes we are
Great episode again, travel safe. Also watched one from months ago when you were making curry and frying papadums.....tip for you zap them in the microwave about 3 at a time for about 30seconds. What brand of air fryer oven do u use and I guess installed it yourself.
Hey that’s a great idea but we don’t have a microwave. The Breville Smart Oven Airfryer replaced our microwave
Oops sorry🤭
Curious how did you know the last ford place didn’t rotate your tyres? I wouldn’t have any clue what they do or not hey 😅.
Hey thanks for watching!
We have tyre pressure monitoring sensors which show up on the dash. Bryce also didn’t wash 1 wheel to make sure they moved it 👍🏽
Good vid,
If inner guard has been cut for aftermarket front protection, factory wading depth is lost
Thanks for watching! Do you know why that would be the case?
@@CaravanAdventureAus
If inner guard is cut, if there’s a gap and water can be forced up into intake.
Especially if hitting water a little too fast.
Seen this happen a few times.
Well sealed snorkel , plus gives better fresh air on dirt roads, I run a Donaldson top filter on snorkel
what ya use for editing? Software/Hardware ? Do you keep ALL your videos of ya travels in original format?
I lived in Noosa for over 20 years and I didn’t know about the 4w drive track to the look out. I’m going back with the van just to check it out. What was it called again, please.
Also I’ve had such bad experiences with Ford I will never own one again. So I understand your pain there
Hey thanks for watching!
It’s called the Booloumba Lookout. You can follow the track further to the Falls too 👍🏽
I can completely understand your problems or your hesitations about using regional car dealers for scheduled services, especially if you're above the Tropic of Capricorn. I spent 12 years in Mt Isa and if you brought a new vehicle in for a scheduled warranty service at a dealer that you hadn't bought the car from, they would flatly refuse to do it! I had a hard and fast rule to stick to after a while about service industries above the 26th parallel and it was this; "They know they are in an industry or business that is service based, but have no idea what "service" means!" After 16 years in north and north-western Queensland, nothing ever happened to change my mind on that score! Most of them were rude, ill-mannered, arrogant hicks who thought that treating their customers like crap would ensure that they would keep coming back!
It truly is a shame that you have to be careful about which dealer ship to go back to as they all just can't be trusted!
It's very hard to find a good FORD Dealer. 🦘🦘
