Hey Keelo, lived in Carnarvon and used to go to this area years ago and heaps of other camps near there each weekend, if you go a little south along the beach about 2km you'll find a small inlet bay, in it is loaded with crays..like hundreds and you can grab a couple for dinner by hand.😊. Also, do a good pre shark check, there is a few LARGE Tigers about..
Just a tip, when parked up in remote camp areas like this, leave the CB on scan (or handheld CB turned on in caravan) incase someone gets on and calls out for help, being out there, you help each other...In past, we have put out a boat fire with our jetskis and helped rescue an old couple from under their 4x4 who rolled all because of leaving the CB on scan/emergency channel at camp..plus you hear when whales are close and dolphins at the beach 😊
Great work, keep up great vids guys..
Cheers👍
For those out there who are sick of the 5-6km distance from their 5watt UHF CB, saying 'UHF' gets out a long way, 5-6kms IS NOT a long way people, especially when your in dusty flat remote outback country and the rear of group slows and you loose Coms as the rest drive off, one then starts to panic!😮
INSTEAD...STILL fit your UHF...BUT ALSO as extremely cheap insurance*, fit a backup coms, best being a 'HF' - AM/SSB CB, (27Mhz) for when one is way out remote bush, one of the vehicles (film crew) go a little too far, turn off or go AWOL and get lost OR the last person in the convoy stops for dust or emergency, having a AM/SSB CB you will ALWAYS reach each other in the convoy - period!
You still keep and use your current UHF as per normal...but once you DO loose signal or contact on your UHF, reach over and pic up the AM/SSB CB mic and call out - you will contact them as well as all others around you in a 30km+ radius with their AM/SSB CBs.
Just on 'AM' alone, you get up to 33km! Go press the SSB button..you then have a 15watt HF COMs for contact up to and over 80kms! (certain nights, you can even get well over 4000kms!)
For a while now, all the pro 4x4 touring guys have a AM/SSB CB hidden away usually under their seats (due to sponsorship commitments)
for contact when they are way out on outback remote roads.
Even GC from 24/7 a while back saved a guys life when he used his AM/SSB CB to call out for RFDS assistance during a remote trip where due to the heavy rain depression cloud in remote Australia after a cyclone, where they couldn't get any satellite signal locks on either their Satphones or PLBs!!
YES - 'AM' CBs are legal and why many off-road and 4x4 pros are using them again, not just for the guaranteed coms between each other, but chat is alot more professional and serious as there is WAY less swearing and Yobboism! 😊
Ebay has second hand 'AM' CBs for just $25-50, or Uniden do sell brand new $120 'AM' (510/520xl) or $220 AM/SSB CBs ('980 SSB') for those serious 4x4ers who always want Coms with the rest of the group no matter how far you stray or when all others in your group slip away.
Just a little bit of free advice for everyone..hope helps those 4x4ers with 'communications anxiety' when travelling remotely. 😊
Cheers 🍻
Don't worry the tigers a fairly friendly
Hi Sarah, get yourself a digital meat (probe) thermometer. You'll never have to worry about underdone chook again. Cook to the right internal temperature and all safe and spot on. Same for other meats no more guess work or stabbing the meat to check the juices and guessing now well done. Just cook to the right temperature and it will be spot on.
Guys you are unreal, love watching your adventures, I’m an old fart and have watch all the outback boys from way back like Malcom Douglas, ably mangles, and so many more, and I have to say a nice fresh young approach is just what the doctor orderd well done, have fun, and above all stay safe.
Wow that sunset was something else. Looked like the sky and water were on fire. Pure magic 😍🥰

yeah that sunset... man I played that over and over.. drone note was kinda cool I bet you could have some fun with that.
Love the mat.
What a sunset!! Isn't it amazing how dolphins interact with people.
We use our little weber to cook whole chicken & legs of lamb.
I use a temperature probe to
Measure internal temp. 72⁰ for lamb & 74⁰ for chicken.
......................G'day,
Insane mate!
Cheers and God bless,
Malcolm.
That has got to be one of the best spots bar none👍
That’s living Barry 😉
Keelan is an X man super dude with rock'n sunnies & Sarah is a gem what a team 🤙
Thanks mate! Cheers for watching
That’s insane. The suspension on the caravan has the caravan riding smoother and flatter than the Landcruiser. Looks great - incredible flex!!! I’m Interested to see what it’s like cornering on tar.
Great episode
Killer sunset there Team
That's a beautiful stretch of beach. Perfect with the choice of Paul Kelly music.
Thanks Philip!! Cheers for all the support on our videos mate

so jelly, been about 5yrs since we have been to winderbandi, some of our best adult memories. However been put off going again because of how popular it has become. Heading to Warroora instead this year. Fingers crossed its just as good.
Cgear mats are awesome. Quick suggestion is carry a straw broom to sweep it with. Works a treat.

Loved the sunset sites sick good work people❤

Fully sick😁
Fully bloody sick haha
cant believe you never heard of those mats before, designed to land helicopters on in sandy areas. Also if you need water just pump it out the wells in the dunes
In regards to the drone… you should get DJI refresh when you buy it. Costs ya $150 for a replacement after a crash. It’s through DJI themselves
The van looked smoother than Leroy 🤩 that’s pretty impressive
You are 100% correct! It is smoother than the car! Terraglide has really impressed me
well done shifting the van up a bit from high tide
Thanks mate
Love ur work guys get urself a digital thermometer so u can check the internal temp of ur food easy and cheap chicken should be 75*%
Thanks Alison for watching and commenting! Good tip! We will look into them next time we see a shop!! Thanks 🍻🤙🏽
Love me a. A couple of West Aussie's

nice caravan park, recon you have got enough gear...like Sylvania Waters on wheels.
I've always wondered whats the benefits of having the silver sun block suction cupped to the lower windscreens on the dash?
Looks like Keelan's losing some weight!! Good on ya!!
Haha thanks mate
Great videos guys. What water bladder is that please
Great show love ya work guys !

Hahahah I only catch occys
So good, won't be back there till 2026, but still froffin! Stay safe. 🍻🍻🍻🍻
You’ll be back in the bingo bus haha thanks legends!!
That's a great mount for the outboard motor. Do you get any fumes from it in your car?
I just noticed that you guys aren't running the Steed ST-X light bar and their spotties anymore, are you liking the new light force combo better? Also that van suspension is spicy 🌶
Hey guys, must say I enjoy your videos. If you don’t mind I have a question. Retirement age coming soon and I’m looking at buying a small hybrid. Have found a nice looking tanami x11 . 2021 model. Think the same as your first van. Has some hail damage on roof, but only cosmetic, price seems reasonable, van looks in good condition. I would have to travel from Tasmania to purchase it in Victoria.. I have a 2017 Ranger for towing so that should be ok. What you guys think about the Tanami. Just a bit worried about the quality etc.. anyway thank you for any advice. Again, great work 👍
Love your videos! What camp chairs do you have?
We have oztrail chairs from outback equipment (skt5 discount code) they have been really really good and comfy
Is that a Scanguage 3 on your dash, if so, how do you find it
Bloody awesome again as always guys. With your previous video what changes will you need to do with your Itech lithium 400 amp battery in Leroy.
Thanks and none at all, we don’t have any shore power connection so we arnt within the classification
@SarahandKeelanTravels thank you very much for your quick reply and clearing that up. I've slowly been putting a itech system together to fit to our prado and was thinking it was cause a change of plans Any how thanks again guys. Oh yeah that water bladder game changing idea.
🎉
mick first again! legend!
Hi Sarah and Keelan - we are currently organising our caravan build - what are your thoughts regarding composting toilets? I know it is a weird question - just wondering.😊
Awesome work guys.
What tyres you running on your rigs
Got the Mickey Thompson baja muds on the van 285/70/17
Got the maxxis razr muds on the car 295/70/17 and they have both been epic! We bag them down real low and punish them and have had no issues at all
drag a short heavy chain in front of each front tyre
Smooth it out infront ya reckon! Great idea
What sort of pressures are you running in the van vs the car?
10:20 bit of wash and wax they'll be gone them scratches
10:13 yer mate I understand ye why you guys over there deflate the drive wheels ye but surely the trailor wheels should be pumped up so they bounce and roll easier over obstacles ,
Hey mate. What drone do you use?
Is this a new van??? Van tour and 12v setup breakdown coming up?
How you liking the Mickey T tyres?. I have always had BFG KO2’s which have been excellent but feeling like a change now. Considering the MT Baja Boss AT’s as I don’t need muddies. I know yours are muddies but are you pleased with the brand. Thanks.
Van tyres are Mickey T baja muds they have been great! 200 series tyres we are running maxxis razr and they have also been insanely good! Pleased with both we have belted them!
What ya new drone ?? Hpefully a DJI Mavic Pro 3 ??
You’re a funny man 😂
I think the advertising is fine
Nice to see I’m not the only grown man being immature 😂
Hahah did you like what I was packing haha 😂😂 thanks legend I’m glad someone had a laugh
22:26 I would recommend that she get that mole on her left shoulder looked at, guessing that it could be some form skin cancer, I could be wrong though, pls get it checked so she can do further videos with you.
Yep I had what looked like just a brown mark on my arm but I notice that it was getting bigger , I then went to skin specialist who thought it wasnt much but asked me what I wanted to do, I said lets get rid of it, turned out to be a Melanoma ,boy was I lucky to get it checked.
Xmen out again in his element
Hahah x men super power: none
Hey guys can I ask a question about your outboard. Do you get petroleum fumes in the car. We have a 200 series also and have just purchased a true kit inflatable and trying to figure out where to carry the motor. Thanks
Hey Tracie! Thanks for watching! No the fumes arnt bad at all, we don’t use the top 1.5L tank on the engine we have a seperate fuel tank we keep in the tunnel boot of the van. The only time we get fumes is when I run the outboard, take it off the boat straight into the car and there’s a tiny bit of fuel in the carby. Fumes last about 1 hour and they are gone! Hope that helps
Thanks guys we maybe putting it in the car then, safer in there. 👍
keenan the skinhead? - cool
How good is that hahah thanks for watching
Just wondering what the tyre pressures were and how fast were you going over the corrugations?
These single lane tracks: We run around 15 on the van, 20 on the back of the cruiser and 15 on the front for these sandy slow speed corrugations! Tight sections go 10kmh-20kmh and then open sections of the track 40kmh. Be careful though every setup is different and some rims and tyres don’t bag out like others!!
@@SarahandKeelanTravels Thanks guys your such legends. Just wanted a guide. I do beach driving quite a bit and towed the van on gravel but never towed the van on beach or sandy tracks.
I wanna party with ya'll!!!!!
Ummmmm, just a quick question: if you dont have drive to tjose wheels, who gives a tosd wheter the back wheel remains on the ground ir not? I dont get the whole "look ma, I have flex" on a caravan.
What’s the care takers name with his Kubota if his name is Phil I have a story for you about him
Phil McKrackin
Seeing you guys have done it, why on earth do you put a strip of reflective sun shade at the bottom of the windscreen?
Have been seeing it more & more & also blinded by it coming the other way.
What is this new trend?
Is that a jump starter pack in your pocker or are you happy to see me... oh it is a jump start pack
Love you guys, but Keelan, pls, the sunnies, let’s work on this ?
haha I love the sunnies mate!
@@SarahandKeelanTravels nah mate, def some better ones to suit you. Also, new chairs? Stratus?
Hit me up about exhaust, on the quite bud struggling to sort mine
Manta! They will help ya and give you the system we have!! Full disclaimer we running solid amount of boost which adds to the sound!
Shouldn't really of had to pay so much for a new drone, you had the old controller can buy the drone on its own. If you want to sell the old controller let me know 👍
What year is your Cruiser?
It’s a 2016
@SarahandKeelanTravels Cheers mate.
Great video guys. Gotta say those sunnys look gay though
What is wrong with your Starlink?
It’s broken watch the last video in Karijini
