- 2nd track from the 5th Weezer Album "Make Believe" released in 2005. This is the original (or first) "early album version" of the song which features a longer guitar intro and a minor variation on the chorus melody. A little bit different from the radio edit, and later album releases, and also slightly different from the official video version of the song found here on TH-cam, but this is still THE BEST VERSION, in my humble opinion. Enjoy this rare gem from the past my friends!

Just spent 30 minutes arguing with my sister saying that weezer changed the chorus of this song. She spent 30 minutes gas lighting me, nearly convincing me I was delusional. Thank internet for saving me.

"early version" - No, this is the only version. I bought the CD when it came out and this is why I heard. It was immediately my favorite song on the album. No reason to every change it. It's perfect.

Like, we get it, it's the title of the song. You don't have to shout it in my face just for algorithmic branding purposes. It cheapens the song.

This will always and forever be the way it should be. Its the way all the Weezer fans sing it at their concerts. Radio friendly doesn't mean fan friendly.

I just found out this summer that there was a 'new' version. I've been listening to the original CD's ripped mp3s on my iPod for all these years. My mind was blown that there is even another version...

What’s crazy is I totally remember and thought I had this version. I still have the original album I uploaded into my iTunes (not Apple Music) but the chorus is the “newer” version. Thank god for TH-cam convincing me I wasn’t crazy. 😅

I remember this version first and then suddenly it was different and less hitting especially near the end it had that "perfect situation" repeating all cheesy. This song really is the best one.

A few years back, this song was played in my local radio station, and the chorus was weirdly different! I recorded it and ask my friend who's also a fan to this song to listen to it and we both were jackie-chan'ed our head wondering what had changed. We really believe that we were in some kind of Mandela Effect about this but later on I scratch back my old hard drive and found this version. What a relief.
Someone sang this but the other version at karaoke the other night, and it made me really miss this og version… glad to have found it here 🥲

I was lucky enough to have this one when it came out. I hate the reworked one.
It is the best version, thank you. I felt crazy remembering the song different from everyone else.
I prefer this one cause this is the version that was on my ipod when I downloaded in limewire. But unfortunately Cuomo decided to re-record the Oh to how the crowd would sing it live.
