Good video Enrique!!! I bought the DVD tutorial from sample kings and sounds for samplers. By far you explain the 4000 alot better. Not trying to knock sounds for samplers. The video you put up about sampling is good. I've had the 4000 for years and never knew how to sample. With your video I do now. I want to thank you. If you made a DVD tutorial on the 4000 I would be your first customer in line. Again good video good explanation on the 4000. Can we say that about sample Kings DVD though. Thanks John

In all the time I've had the 4000 I have just ignored it, but now I've started to be more curious about what this amazing machine can do. If you know how it works, could you explain it? How do you filter samples on the MPC 4000? Im a owner of the 4000. I bought it months ago. Like how producer Just Blaze filter his samples on his 4000 or like how Pete Rock filter his samples on his MPC 2000xl.
Press your Program button and highlight whichever program you want from the program list, hit the MISC (F3 button) then KG MIX (F2 button), next select ZONE (F6 button) The next steps are a hack not mentioned in the manual. In the ZONE page, you can tab down to the field that says” Edit:ONE.” If you change the word ONE to All, anything you program will affect everything in the PROGRAM You have selected. So if you have it on One, it will only allow you to manipulate one sample in that PROGRAM (Remember this) tab down to the FILTER section and under “Type:” is where you’d select the filters (33 filters).

Yo! only the Akai OS is availible on the 4000, and to me i really like the way the 2000xl and 4000 sound. but the 4000 is the easiest to use and most flexible when it comes to making music.
Thanks a lot but avaible 4000,2500 or 5000 and mpc 4000 6 qlink and 4 aux(return sending)tracks.I make music live (lofi,reggae,trap,samples beat) is it 4000 (lofi,reggae,trap,samples beat) production for live music avaible? for example tape delay qlink can ı level ?
@@lgpatterson6259 i ended up ordering a new fx card and replaced it. It then worked afterwards but the weirdest thing was i sold the fx card that i removed (as faulty / for parts) and the buyer informed me that it was fully working in his machine. All i can think is maybe it needed a clean on the contact points or something. Anyways i would maybe remove and clean, if it still doesnt work then buy a new one and sell the old as faulty to cover some of the costs.
