It was suggested a decade ago, but there were a couple reasons why they turned it down. Maybe they'll change their mind when they run out of ideas and fixes, lol.
I was keeping my eyes peeled for this video, thanks! My favorite update is the graph for guests in park over going over 5k, which isn't huge, but it's an itch I couldn't scratch for years! It'll be even better if it gets the same treatment as the financial graphs!
What I would really love to see is someone to write code to convert an OpenRCT2 park file to a PlanCo park file so you could load it into Planet Coaster and see your RCT2 park in all its 3D glory and walk around and ride the rides you built.
The finance chart feature is really neat, but I wish the G-force charts had similar features including some kind of zoom feature rather than resizing to show up to +30 Gs. For now I'm using Alfinch's Force Visualiser plugin.
It seems they also changed the park on the opening title screen. Do you know the name of the park and if it can be downloaded somewhere? Is it on nedesigns?
If you want to do a suggestion for the OpenRCT2 developers you can make a feature request on the OpenRCT2 github. Ideas for videos you can just tell me here in the comments.
I write you first. For sure you know the corkscrew coaster from Marcel. My idea is, when you want to build this coaster for example 100 times. That there is button at the buildung menu, that you can build it 100 times directly. That you not have to open the building menu everytime. My english is not the best, i dont know you understand what i mean 😂😂😂
Alternative options generally cost money to run, host or maintain. Companies can do that but a free open source project that no one pays for cannot afford that.
We're getting closer and closer to the point that open RCT adds the Undo and Redo functions
What about all coaster track pieces capable of performing all elements?
I did not know you are working on that!
@@Manticore_007 Me!? No I was just suggesting idea. (Although somebody has to do it at some point).

@@Manticore_007 Yeah I have no idea where to begin, sorry
Glad you showed the Holy Grail clip
Nice video, sir! I just started playing OpenRCT2 a few days ago and I'm still experimenting on building tracks but I'm having fun .😁
Thanks!

Yeah I remember some scenarios had missing patches you couldn't buy.
i really like the new path-feature. It makes things alot easier placing entertainers ontop of a tower or so
Definitely!
4:57 Oh, hey! Look, it's me!
Love these updates 😄
I still wish there was a way to zoom in on the map in the Map Window.
That new path building tool is a game changer!
The path change is absolutely huge
Yeah great change!
Were the transparency settings inspired by OTTD? I feel like this is pretty similar
My favorite version name ever

We need an "object selection" button to select it all in 1 click

30 G's?? Are you trying to murder your guests?
@@Deurklink LOL. Sounds like Coaster Base for oRCT2 instead of PlanCo.
Hybrid Coaster enthusiasts rejoice! It just keeps getting better
One can never have enough ducks!

Parks can be found here www.dkmp.xyz/contests/title-sequence-contest-2024
Is there a special place, where i can make a suggestion for a new idea? Or can i tell you my idea, Deurk?

@@roterteufel92121 If you want this you should ask the openrct2 developers, I cannot really help you with this feature :)
@@Deurklink But you understand my idea, right? What do you think about it?
I understand your idea, but I don't think a lot of people will need this :)
How do they know the 'missing' tiles aren't intentional?
Because it's usually pretty obvious. Like a single tile missing in a big area of purchasable land.
I wonder why the console command is removed, why not have two ways of doing it?
For code upkeep reasons it's better to only handle things in one place in the code
Do i have to manually download the update or can the game do it for me?
If you use the OpenRCT2launcher it will update the game for you
How come its still on version 0?
1.0.0 is reserved for when the project gets fully free and open source graphics, sound and music.
we want easier multiplayer options. we still never know how to set it up

just port forward bro
