My wishlist would be more track pieces for the dinghy slide. (downward turns), and maybe some others rides too, go karts with downward and bigger turns would be nice.
I still really enjoy these updates; I read through the notes myself but often skim through a lot and don't go out of my way to directly look at the new changes, it's nice to see them demonstrated 😄
I always appreciate these update videos - such a great way to visualize patch notes. Thanks for always putting in the effort to document OpenRCT2 devs' hard work!
A clarification on .sea files: they are (encrypted) scenario files from RCT Classic. OpenRCT2 already supported opening them as... well, scenarios. What is new is that you can now load them in the scenario editor too (which was just a matter of adding the extension to the list). Also, what is the outro music you used? (I’m sure it has been asked before, but the description box doesn’t seem to list it.)
The two features I’m most looking forward to are improved pathfinding (including transport rides) and performance improvements; I’ve had to outright give up on a park because I made a new area and now nobody will leave it no matter how I butcher the park to put more paths leading out of it, and it’s frankly impressive that a game that ran on a pentium 200 gets down to single digit FPS on a modern PC if you simply zoom out (or in, depending on the renderer).
This is a volunteer project, no need to get sarcastic about performance. Also, RCT2 used far smaller maps and typically ran in very small resolutions like 800×600. OpenRCT2 has to cover enormous screens, with way higher limits and many more features than vanilla.
How big is your park? I didn't run into any major pathfinding issues in Imagination Megapark, which is a 255x255 tile park. Do you have a lot of path junctions?
I don't watch these videos as I already keep track of this stuff myself, but I think that they're really useful to have, so please keep making them!
Be sure to send people to this video when they ask about the latest release ;)
I can read a chagelog just fine, but videos like this help digest some of the minutia down and I enjoy your voice.
Thanks!
I don't like reading, so having you read this changelog for me is an excellent solution.
You're welcome! ;)

Thanks, I am glad these videos are worth doing!
These update videos are wonderful, I'm consistently awed at how thorough you are in your descriptions
Thanks, glad you like them!

My pleasure!
I look forward to these videos after a new release to see them demonstrated. Keep them coming!
Thanks, will do!
This is my go to for what's new so yes, please making these videos.
Object selection grouping is really nice, and the filters work much better.
I would love for Openrct2 to create make the arrow pipeline coaster!

Thanks for the clarification! The Outro song is Spirit Riders from Telecasted!

th-cam.com/video/u8CkVlZsaq0/w-d-xo.html
I like that, but It lacks stuff like a station and I would love to have more of an In-depth and new tutorial. Also it's day 2 now.
Lemme get updated bruh
I do think this video was useful or entertaining.
