What size screws do I need for the gas tank lid, I'm going to remove my belts and replace with Black screws like you did. Please leave me a link, thank you
Didn’t fix it. I Just dealt with it. I actually put the numbers on the tank and Sprayed with a high gloss clear coat sealer where the clear coat was absent…that helped with the problem.
@@kodysdad17 no video…you will need to take off side panels with provided hex nut wrench or one of your own. They nuts are located under the panel closets to the front suspension but that panel is locked in by the back panels (of course) took me about 30 minutes to do the job. As mention by the previous commenter, if you peel any stickers off you are left with some barely visible lines where vinyl clear coat is not present. I didn’t mind it but some may.

I don’t remember what size for the hex bolt. I took one out and matched at Home Depot. They were located in pull out drawers of bolt section where they keep the millimeter sizes.

I peeled my stickers off of the tank and immediately realized my mistake. I didn’t know they clear coated over them. How did you fix the clear?

I figured it out. But it's not just a sticker. da! You have to add heat because it's been clear coated . Thanks anyway. 🤫

Nuts and bolts behind the plastic side panel underneath the tank. Gotta remove some side panels.
