The KPM with the fuel injection had got me sold. Especially with 2 or 3 trips up into the mountains at 8 to 10 thousand feet, for that cool mountain air. A counterbalanced motor is another plus. Plus with your discount code: it leaves some money for a windshield or second speedo.
WARNING: cadalitic coverter thefts are on the rise. You may have already had one stolen from one of your bikes without you knowing anything about it!
Them dang catalytic converter thief’s, you got to watch them for sure 😂
@@herbiesgarage681 Yea, took my pipe and new exhaust to the machine shop around the corner to have some welding done. Wouldn't you know it? Someone broke in, stole my catalytic converter, and left with it. One day, when I save up some money, I'll get it replaced.

As far as I know it only has a glass main fuse located next to the battery

I love my KPR200 with the same engine as the KPM200. I’m not a huge fan of all the fairings but KPMs and KP200s were sold out when I bought mine. The 250cc Chinese bikes seem to be a bit low on power and efficiency and the parts seem cheaper. Lifan seems to be a pretty decent company.
Any idea why they don’t make anything 300cc or above? A 300cc v-twin would pretty much be the sweet spot. Still light weight but capable of highway speeds. My KPR will hit 85 but that’s really pushing it.
I believe they are supposed to come out with a 4 valve head for the new KPR 200, still small but a little more power. Lifan is supposed to come out with the KPT400 twin cylinder hopefully this year sometime, EPA is holding things up. In a lot of other countries the small cc bikes are predominantly what is sold so that’s why there is a lot of small displacement bikes on the market. I think we will see some larger displacement bikes later this year or next year. Like you, I ride mine the way it is and it is very capable in almost all situations. A little more power is always nice though, I know what you mean 😁

@@chrisrice3551 You can just call the number listed on their website if you need questions answered quickly or email if time isn't of a concern. From order to delivery for me From Cali to Illinois is about 7 or 8 working days. The EFI is definitely worth it to me, it has many benefits but a lot of people like carbs too, it's really a personal choice. I believe the Ghost chopper is sold out until August sometime, but the KPM is still available.
