I adore that Agave pattern. Currently finishing the Salty Air Tee. My needles are into st st Island. Bermy Basic /20 has me looking for yarn ideas as Fall is in my knitting sights. ( but I want to relish every last minute of summer)… winters in MI. are way too long.
Thank you for today.
Thanks so much for watching and enjoy the rest of your summer! Happy knitting!

Thank you! Bermuda really is a special place... ❤
Hello from Swansea, Illinois.
Hello!!!
Your agave is exquisite. I want to knit it just like you did.
Do! Its such a fun and quick knit! Enjoy!
As always, gorgeous patterns/knits to feast my eyes on. Your Trunk Island Tank is so stinking' cute and looks fab on you. The Agave top is also beautiful. Snippets of life on Bermuda always warm my heart! Thank you!

Thank you for watching!
The Trunk Island tank is a great piece!! Looking through my stash! Your Agave is gorgeous!! Thanks for another inspirational segment!! 🧶😍
Thanks so much!
Summer isn't my favorite season but I do so enjoy my flower planters on the deck and walking in soft warm air, and of course biking, as I did this week in Victoria, B.C. Canada, alongside the ocean with a friend. Come to think of it, summer is pretty good! My summer knit this year was a Ranunculus in Berrocco Vintage which I love and am now making Caitlyn Hunter's latest long-sleeve striped sweater in plant fibres (sorry forget the name!). Beth, I loved seeing your new knits and patterns - so inspiring - thank you so much!!
Thank you & enjoy your summer! Hope there's lots of biking and deck time for you!!!
Quickies are great too! Thank you!
Yes they are! Thank you!!! 😉❤
Another great podcast, thank you for sharing all your knits and life journey. Love, love the island tank. Happy knitting.
Thank you so much!
Hello Beth, love your designs! Funnily enough I have the Agave in time out waiting for some time when I could concentrate. ( I’m pretty new to lace so don’t dare work on it when I’m tired after work 😂) So am finally on vacation and your podcast and example is the perfect push to take it out again!! Thanks for that.
I’m also looking forward to your sea swell tee. Do you have an idea when you might be able to release it? Anyway have a lovely rest of the summer! ☀️
Oh yes, never work on anything remotely complicated when your tired! I'm still learning that lesson 😂😂😂. The Sea Swell Tee is due to be published around the 1st of August. Thanks so much for watching and have a great summer too!

I love the Agave sweater. Very elegant. Love your podcast. Have a great week!
Thank you! You too!
Beth, I always love your podcast and want to knit all your tops. I am a newer knitter. I have knit a Tank and right now knitting a pair of socks. Of all your tops what one should I start with as a new knitter and what yarn because that makes a difference in how it looks good. Thank you Beth
Any of the Bermy Basics are a good start. I'd look on the project pages for that design and pick a yarn that you think looks great. I particularly like the Drops Wish for the 12 st gauge but that's a heavy sweater and may not be for everyone. I also like a hand dyed merino held with a mohair for the 22 st gauge version too. Take a look online and go for one that appeals, its all there for you!
❤❤❤TU for a very wonderful video
I'm glad you enjoyed it!
I’ve never heard of a poinciana tree-lovely!
They are gorgeous!!!
Hey Beth! Enjoyed the quickie, lol! Your Trunk Island Tank looks so wonderful... pondering a purchase, and seeing that I have lots of yarn options in stash. Also that Agave really does look so pretty and very versatile for wearing - i like your sleeveless version - that might have to go in my purchases as well! Enjoy your air conditioning - your views are so pretty... that Royal Poinciana is such a treat for the eyes. 😍 Have fun planning your upcoming journeys. Cheers, Judith 💜💚
Thanks Judith! Glad to be of some inspiration! So many amazing designs to knit out there...
Hi Beth - Love my Trunk Island Tank!
And it looks so good on you too!!! Thanks Lorien!
I really really really liked this episode! Your Agave top is beautiful!
Thank you so much!
Thank you Beth for a great podcast. You have such a pleasant voice. 😊
I love your tank top too. I was at my lys and almost bought some more line. I love it so much but decided to finish some wips 1st. 👍🏻
The scenery of Bermuda is lovely!!!
Thank you so much for watching!!!
Your Agave is absolutely beautiful 🤍
❤❤❤
That tank looks so pretty on you! Thank you for the discount - I'm going to buy it right now. All of your knitting is beautiful. Love your podcast, thanks for sharing!
You are so welcome! Thanks for watching!
HELP! Got stuck after the initial large lace pattern…how do I make the connection to the medium lace pattern? I possess the full instructions for the Agave top. Can’t wait to go on…thanks for getting back to me soon❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤Madeleine
I simply followed the pattern. Think there was a row or two of stockinette between. If you have more questions, I’d suggest you reach out to the designer of that pattern. Good luck and happy knitting!
I was so happy to see you wearing your Trunk Island Tank because I am casting it on as I watch! I think it's adorable and can't wait to wear it. I have a question I'm hoping you can answer and that it's not dumb. :) When you are working the 4 quadrants, do you put 3 of them on hold with waste yarn or can you leave them all on your cable and just work them one at a time?
I've done both - so whatever is easiest for you. Thanks so much & happy knitting!!!
Nice projects!Antigone is very light working on us 1 For rose root pattern, lovely but painful"…and slow, better to wash first.. lovely pictures thanks
Thanks for the tips!
Great video. Your top you are wearing is pretty and looks great on you.
Thank you so much!
Love your Trunk Island Top… will check it out on Ravelry. Nice 😊 episode. 👋
Yay, thank you! ❤
I love your knits. Agave is on my list. 🌸
Yay!!! It's so much fun to knit and wear!!!
I will watch for Sargasso!
I am smitten with Sargasso already! Love the thought of a summer version, maybe in Coast? Putting a placeholder in my queue for this one and the Colorwork Vest!! 😍
Thank you again for the lovely stroll. Are the Royal Poinciana fragrant? The hibiscus sure caught my eye too. It’s my favorite along with orchids. Looking forward to the next chat in a couple of weeks. 🥰
That's a great idea! Maybe even Line so you wouldn't have to hold double to get gauge? The Poinciana's aren't fragrant. I think technically their flowers are in fact their leaves, but what gorgeous leaves they are!!!!
Love your episodes! Just a small correction about your handmade project bag: Madrid is in Spain, not Portugal. I’m actually Portuguese, living ini Madrid.
Oh so sorry! Thinking one thing and said the other. Apologies!!! Thanks for the correction!
@@bethmacdonaldstone That’s ok!!! I would completely mess up Bermuda’s geography 😂
Love the Agave pattern. It's been in my queue, for a bit. Do you think Antigone linen would work? Or too stiff? I just did a Deschaine with Line, which I adore, so I know that's fabulous for summer tops.
Antigone might be a bit too thin. The gauge is large and pushed Line to its max in my opinion. maybe gauge swatch? Good luck!
I love your Agave top. How many skeins of yarn did you use for your sleeveless version?
Thank you! I used just shy of 4 skeins of Sandnes Garn Line. It’s a fabulous pattern.
@@bethmacdonaldstone I appreciate your response. Purchasing the pattern now. Thanks
I just love the Agave top! I went and bought the pattern. Do you think it could be knit in a dk yarn instead of the called for worsted?
Best thing to do is to knit a gauge swatch. Its a pretty open gauge which is lovely but you have to be sure you like the fabric. Good luck & happy swatching!
@@bethmacdonaldstone thank you
